As a DV parent (as well as AHS alum) I appreciate the balance of this video. There were plenty of highlights for both teams, as DV led in the 4th quarter and had a chance to win with one long drive. Najee Harris finally broke out with 3 impressive TD runs to put Antioch up by 11 with 2:30 to go. After that things got a little silly with two Antioch TD's in the final minute on risky DV plays. All said, it was a great game and everything high school football should be: supportive crowds on both sides, enthusiastic cheerleaders, pep bands, and two teams that played with great intensity in a hard-fought rivalry game. To any who read this: support your local high school athletics, theater, music, whatever. It's the best entertainment value in town.
How do you gameplan for a 6'3 230 lbs running back running like he's 5'9 and a buck 80? Let's not forget he's just jumping over everybody and not going down from one tackle. I just graduated but I would have a love hate opportunity to play him. Love to play them based off competition alone but hate the fact he just doesnt go down
Actually it was a horrible play. He didn't get space between him and the blocker and instead got put on his butt. If he had brought aggression with extension or got off the block it would have been good
Bama has some good backs, but make no mistake, the moment Najee sets foot on campus he will be their best back. They usually run 2-3 backs so they won't wear him out in college but he will be the lead back.
Najee is a good good kid. I worry about that kid. He reminds me of me when I was his age. I was very nice but I was naive. He's more introverted and I'm more sociable. But something he and I have in common is we both come from similar backgrounds in a way. I'm not going to get into that because I'm a coach at AHS and out of respect for him I won't get into that. Because I respect him too much to do that to him. I see him as a human being like myself and anybody else. Some of these recruiters and people who come to see him to play don't see him as a human being. They just see him as Najee Harris # 2. I see him as Najee Harris a young kid with a heart of gold like myself when I was that age. I just wish more people appreciated him as a human being instead of just seeing him as dollar signs!!!!!!! IJS
I mean I really didn't see anything that made him non human this dude is too hyped up he threw stuff arms against kids who can't tackle. I should have been a 10 star prospect while I was in high school but rugby is a better sport anyways. More teamwork needed than in football.
Franscisco Moya 1. The dude can break off of tackles, has incredible strength, good vision, and has good size. 2. Stop using excuses. "Kids who can't tackle". Yeah fucking right. This is a High School football team we're talking about. Not to mention it's not "stuff" it's "stiff". 3. 10 star prospect my ass. I bet you were just a bench warmer for the 1st string starters on your team. 4. Rugby is just a rip off version of football. And the field looks weird and the rules are dumb. 5. Only reason more teamwork is needed in Rugby is because you have 15 fucking people on the field instead of 11 and have to pass the ball.
Runs too high...dances in the hole instead of punching through...low stamina which in turn will lead to injury...hes big with moderate speed...thats it
4:06 what a fucking beast

4:17 Reno Mahe, current BYU asst. coach, former NFL Phil Eagles Punt Returner. Cool! Scouting exceptional talent.
He has great ball carrier vision , he's patient too . kinda like AP or Bell .
What, when did Najee play defense 1:50
Bob Samuels he has always played defense. He's just known for his skills running the ball tho

Shit...deer valley was a road..not a school. Panther Pride!!! Class of 89. Football wasn't the only pride..wrestling was also. All state 1989!!!
0:57 Look at #2. Aggressive linebacker, good physical play.
efrainthegreat That's Najee Harris, the #1 player in the country & is the #1 HS RB in America. I think he may go to either Alabama or USC.
BreuckelensFinest I was talking about #2 for the other team.
efrainthegreat We meet again Efrain #2😂
Actually it was a horrible play. He didn't get space between him and the blocker and instead got put on his butt. If he had brought aggression with extension or got off the block it would have been good

How’d you feel after seeing Najee run through college too? No high school was gonna shut him down 💀
