Tbh he is kinda wrong about how hard it is. if you do hard mode you will deal with famines huge Viking/dragon hordes. (these can actually kill you if you dont protect yourself hard enough) Also there is much more to do than just expand as if you want to not die in hard mode you need to experiment and find good patterns and layouts. also colonizing is fun.
I agree with this on hard mode it becomes a lot more difficult you can get well over 100 Viking ships coming with at least two clicks of soldiers on them and maybe a Cave troll as well and when the dragons come you can get multiple large ones and multiple small ones coming at the same time at a year 150 on hard mode you’ll have like one large one and five small ones
"protect yourself hard enough"
Do you mean "well enough"?
Recently grabbed this because of the VR update. It's fun zooming down to the box people scale, then looking across your kingdom among your humble subjects!
Fun chill little game.
You gave it 6/10 but you only played easy mode? 0_o
Ikr? Doesn't seem like he actually explored the gameplay at all or how it functions.
I think the game is 9/10 and by the way the hard mode is very punishing and if you don't protect every inch in your city the vikings can be annoying as f*** and hardest mode I didn't play yet so I can't really tell, but if I'm not wrong it's also very hard...
he is one of those who plays on easy mode on every game, cant even handle normal mode
He's memeing around... 💀

Doing a review on easy mode on a game known to be easy is the epitome of lazy. I give you a 6 out of 10.
Lololol. This is the laziest review I've seen in a long time. Just watching the trailer shows more than he's going over here. Not a single mention of other AI you can meet that includes trading and wars. And then to only play it on easy mode and give it a rating? I want my 4 minutes and 43 seconds back.
It is hella fun managing massive populations and colonies, as if you forget to build farms you can say goodbye to literally everyone
The new fallen mode is ruthless you will fail just try to survive as long as you can. But when you have 40 vikingships and 10 golems with siege machines behind coming from 3 diffrent sides things get a bit tricky. Meanwhile your natural recourses dissapear making it harder to repair damages between waves that are already short inbetween.
Aparently there are AI kingdoms you can go to war with
I have the game and yes you are correct
It is so extremely painful to invade a nation lol
spot on review. my brother and his friend made this game and if you buy i hope you enjoy the chill atmosphere:)
The new Hardcore survival mode. has limited stone and iron deposits, as well the Viking raids go up to 400+. but I've survived this, you just gotta make sure you spend your rock on good walls and defense and be sure to colonize other islands with resources, and start the game with a strong seed. but I shouldn't be too hard for experienced players.
You can also besiege AI kingdoms and Vintar difficulty requires planning for base design and preparation :)
Bought this game and wanted a refund, then played it again and became addicted lol. Definitely worth a pickup
Same
I just asked for a refund. The game is to slow for me even on double speed it takes so long to get enough stone. And if population declines the stonemine always get unmanned. So slow😢
@@Dr0111 well, did you prioritise quarry jobs? i prioritised food at first so people would like living and built more houses and then reached a point where i was just getting a lot of stone naturally because the population was high enough. its a pretty addicting game, you make people happy by giving them want they want, this makes more people want to live in your kingdom and you can raise taxes and get more workers
Actually love your Videos :D
try out hard mode there will be droves of Vikings on top of that there will be hostile AI kingdoms out of three one will always be hostile unless you pay him/her tribute, in order to defeat that you have to build up a huge ass army like 15 archer units 15 knight units 15 catapults and still victory wont be guaranteed, plus in order to fund that you will need a population of minimum 2000 and its super difficult to put all that in a single island, not to mention if the island has a single stone node your life will be hell
how did you change the roof color?
Nice video thank you
Im on 104g version its a old version ?
Can you this game offline?
3:50 you are so off, (yes I am aware of the time of recording) you don't have all steam achievements wich by the time you do you will understand why you were off, trust me ;)
You saved $4. That's passive income.
Great game
tldr; yes
hmm yes, I will only play easy mode, and just assume that hard mode is similar. I will not spend 2 hours to check this statement.
10/10 awesome game review.
bro how this only have 416 views
1:40 *Aren't those boars?*
The ai tho is crazy
9.99$ on steam?...its 14.99$ on the xbox store. 😐
Shut up im sleeping 😴😘
How does "taxing peasants" make for a segway into "please sub"? We're peasants and the tax is hitting the sub button? What? Maybe a plug for clicking the join button or subscribing to your Twitch, which I don't think you have. But hitting the subscribe button? Seriously? Surely you can do better than that. That, in and of itself, earns you a dislike.
Who has 2 other ai kingdoms but all the ogers decide that they want to land on yours
gives it a 6 complaining it's too easy ... whilst playing easy mode
Looks like the game settles for the old tired medieval cliches: farms, taverns, temples, castles. Basically the Skyrim concept of the middle ages again. Just boring at this point. The middle ages had tons of weird stuff that would make a game different and fun.
you know these tropes predate skyrim by decades right?
@Manuel Castanon yes of course, I only mentioned it because it's the most famous game using it, just as an example of what I was talking about. I didn'tean to suggest the tired tropes started with it.
How are farms and castles "medieval cliches" exactly?
@@razmatazz9310 because they're overrepresented to the detriment of other elements of everyday medieval life that are hardly ever depicted, e.g. baths, looms, barbers and hairdressers, kennels, brothels, traveling circus, and so on. Games have an opportunity to do something different concerning the real lives of people
@@Jose-ru2wf I get your point, but it's not like you could leave castles or farms out of the game. They are integral to depicting that time. It's like complaining that Cities: Skyline has skyscrapers instead of karaoke bars.
I just can't handle those ugly, lazy ass graphics. I'd rather re-boot Banished.
??? Its beautiful
