    How old where you when you got Sheba? Would you ever go back to using a long cane or will you always have a guide dog?What do you think your life would be like if you did not have Sheba?

    interesting! Loved the video. I have one coming out in a bit too with a trip to Canada and using the trains there too with my guide. Since I have crappy vision of course, I couldn't tell how you guys did escalators. At my school, we are trained to have our dogs find the escalator, feel it with our foot, wait a few seconds to make sure no one is in front of us, and then we drop the harness and hold the leash and heel our dogs on. Then we wait and when we feel the stairs evening out, we heel our dog off and let them jump because they are still on leash. How do you guys tackle escalators?
