Hi thx for the Video! If I just want to watch via App what's going on in the birdhouse is a Micro SD card necessary?

Hi there, no need for a MicroSD card if you just want to watch. You can still download your images and videos as well. The MicroSD card would be more for if have it in a location where it can't record to the cloud (no WiFi), thus instead it can record to the MicroSD card. Hope that helps.
