Clean Me Light on Breville Infuser | Why backflush?

    Whenever I do this nothing comes out of the group head only backflush nothing comes out of the oirtafilter

      Interesting Dirk. Did you use the non-pressurized basket in your portafilter?

      for the newer models, it doesn't come out of the group head

      @@Aloralei By newer models, do you mean newer models of the same "Infuser", or completely different models? Also: Does it have a different basket, like a blind? Or does it just not come out of the group head even with the same 1 cup basket + rubber gasket ?

    No water dripping from the portafilter is this normal?

      So - I learnt that the newer Breville's have a "blank" basket to backflush. That means you're not going to see any water dripping from the portafilter, and that all the cleaning liquid / muck flows back and into the drip tray.
      I really didn't know at the time of shooting this video 😁
