Before rereading this trilogy for the first time since 2018, I didn't expect much from it, but holy cow, it was a blast from start to finish:
A mostly clear story that at least feels coherent, that isn't completely filled with unanswered questions, and that didn't retcon itself to be in-universe fiction, making itself pointless?
Actual characters that we follow from beginning to end, who have interactions with each other, and who are all connected to each other in some way? [Charlie and Elizabeth are my favorites in this entire mess of a franchise]
The main villain, who is an actual character in the story (an inconsistent one, but still), and whose motivations are actually explained?
The main protagonist, whose personality, motivations, and entire character aren't written by fans?
fuck. yeah.
These books aren't perfect, and I have issues with each of them, but after seeing how much of an incomprehensible nightmare the original continuity is after FNaF3 and how it can't even function without headcanons, I really appreciate this trilogy.
Sadly, it still suffers from FNaF's stupid storytelling, but to such a lesser degree that I can actually stomach it. I even want to theorize and headcanonize about it, which I'll never do with all other FNaF stuff.

Events that I didn't place in the timeline:
Birth of Elizabeth. It is said that when William worked on CB4, and when Elizabeth died, she was still in kindergarten. She died in 1983-1987 (1985) and was at most 7 years old when it happened. So she was born somewhere in the late 70s - early 80s.
Henry stops working on CB4. It happened at some point after he made CBs 1-3 and before William stole CB4. When exactly is unknown.
Demolition of Freddy's. In TFC, Clay tells John that Freddy's is destroyed, so it happened at some point after TTO and before TFC.
Other minor events, like Marla visiting Charlie when they were 12, etc.

Unanswered questions:
1) It's not explained why Charlie started to be obsessed with the 4th closet on her 18th birthday.
[My only assumption is that it is some kind of program that Henry created for her so that she would automatically change to a new body]
2) It's unknown what the underground pizzeria and Twisted animatronics were for, and to what extent Henry was involved in all of this. Also, how do MCI kids know where this underground pizzeria is?
3) How does Elizabeth have Charlie's memories, especially the ones from TTO?
4) What's the deal with Afton Robotics, and is it still around as of TFC?
5) What happened to Ms. Afton? Or was Elizabeth adopted?
6) Who sent a message to John through Theodore? How does John even have him?
[The last time we saw Theo he was in Charlie's car, which came into Elizabeth's possession the next day]
7) Clay tells John that:
he saved only Ella from the remains of Henry's house, and "the rest got hauled away." Was CB2 one of the things that were hauled away? Otherwise, where is it?
he found some things in the wreckage that were "scary" (and that to anyone else they didn't mean much), but Clay doesn't elaborate further at any point. What were they?

Continuity errors:
1) The whole "July 1985" thing
2) Charlie in TTO remembers how William showed everyone his scars during TSE. It never happened
3) At first, TTO says that the storm occurred before Charlie started to live in St. George. Later, it's revealed that it happened after
4) In TSE, it's said that Charlie and others sent letters to each other for years, even not long before the events of TSE. Yet in TFC, John doesn't know where Charlie lived before TTO, and Jessica asks Jen if Charlie grew up in Silver Reef, implying she doesn't either
5) In TFC, when John takes Ella from Clay's house, her illusion disk has "Afton Robotics" on it. Later, it was gone

About TFC's ending:
The woman at the end HAS to be Charlie in some shape or form. Previous books ended with Charlie and John in some way, and TFC has to as well. They are the main characters of this trilogy, after all.
I personally believe that it's Charlie in her CB4 body.
In her last moments, Charlie slid Ella close to Elizabeth's chest and put Liz's hand on it. Before that, we saw how Charlie could control her CB3 body even when she (the original Ella ragdoll) wasn't currently inside of it, so I don't think it's a stretch that Charlie could possibly take control of Liz's CB4 body without Ella being inside of it.
