Gaster | 7/17 | "PHOTON READINGS NEGATIVE" (No ability)* The only way to get him is energy cheat, which matches his existence as a mysterious character that disappeared across time and space. As for his High Evo. effect, *"Whenever you end a turn with unspent Energy, give the top card of your opponent's deck -2 Power. (if in hand or in play)"* Also, the reason it's 17 energy and not 15 or 16 is because A. You can't play him in a normal game, and B. Entry Number Seventeen is his most iconic appearance (his description is pulled directly from Entry Number Seventeen).

Hood left + anything other than bast left was an almost guaranteed win as long as you only play those two cards. Zemo is a good pick but could hit something unhelpful so I like Demon there

I was thinking maybe I ran into a post by you on r/MarvelSnap a day or two ago because someone mentioned they lost a ton of games but finally hit this exact combo and had video of it. It seems like a nightmare to even shoot for. 😂
I tried this deck out and replaced wasp with ghost spider to try to make use of yellowjacket on turn 7 to bring destroyer down to 2 powet then use ghost spider to move it away. I also swapped out km for psylocke jst in case. On my 1st game, I pulled off the viper into destroyer with the help of the location, elysium. I managed to play odin on 6 but the opponent ruined the play by having prio and played magneto, pulling my viper away. In conclusion, i lost and almost gave up.
Next time you get a situation with Luke's bar and hood remember you can stick a card there if you keep your hand full by playing hood first and then something big enough to to win bar. Great video as always.
I tried this Viper Destroyer combo a few nights ago and it tanked. I had no idea how to make it work. Now I know I was missing sooo much to make it work. 😅

Could try again if you could swap Wasp for Mr.Negative and Destroyer would be a 6-6, this way you have Bast and Mr.Negative for a debuff. If Odin is drawn before Destroyer when playing Mr.Negative then it helps. Or instead of Killmonger could use crystal on same curve for an extra card. The people say run it back again.

Alternate idea. Caiera with typical zoo and some ramp like hope or psylocke or wiccan. That way you can destroyer on 5 on its own location, then viper on 6 with something else

After entire day of trying this, I finally manged to do this combo, destroyed like 60 power of the Surfer player😂😂😂 For anyone else trying to do this, here are some tips: 1) You have to play Bast down and hit the Destroy at most on Turn 2, unless you have Magik, then it's at most on Turn 4 2) Put down any in between cards all in the same location, cause keeping a location empty is very important, don't even Viper anything unless you're sure they won't play at that location 3) This just won't work against some locations and deck, as far as I've found: Destroy decks, Clog decks, any deck with Armor/Cosmo/Prof. X (Just anything that protects their cards), if there's the Bar with no name you have to play the combo there, fuck Wakanda and any locations that prevent you from playing cards the way you want (more notably, Asteroid M, Central Park, Dream Dimension, Great Web) 4) Interesting Interractions: You can avoid needing to play Bast if you have a Kamar Taj, but given that the opponent is either gonna play there or get rid of it, Bast is still more reliable, you could also semd the Destroyer over early if you think they will play Odin themselves, once again unlikely that you'll have the space for him but keep these in mind

I remember Bynx trying to pull this combo years ago and it took him 4 hours to do it once and it was MUCH easier back then.
