I was wrong...you can steal a credit card via rfid and use it

- If you recall around Christmas I did a few videos using the proxmark to see if I could read an RFID credit card - my point was that rfid blocking pouches are not worth it. Well.. it turns out I was wrong - in this video I am joined by Timur Yunusov the Head of Offensive Security Research at www.cyberdlab.com/ where he demonstrates stealing credit card credentials using a mobile phone and then with a modified payment terminal intercepting and swapping in the "sniffed" credit card details causing a charge to be made. This one really opened my eyes and I am now a firm believer in protecting your credit card from rfid sniffing.
Note that this is a demo video rather than my normal "how to" style video as these techniques are being used to commit fraud as we speak and you need to understand how to protect yourself from them. This is why there is no screen recording or tool list.
I watched your video before and now watched the follow up and this was very informative and helpful. I have looked on amazon and will make a purchase for rfid sleeve protectors. I love the idea of the flip wallet with rfid sleeve protectors. Thanks so much! Ms. C.
Thank you so much for providing a platform for this knowledge! I guess banks should keep this feature OFF by default. Some don't even allow the customer to turn this feature off.
So are blocker cards still ok to use v wallet?
Thanks. This helps as stats are not released for this so there is not any way to know how a credit card got fraudulently used.
very helpful, thanks
Do you have any videos for women’s wallets, purses on RFID protection? Does using the RFID sleeves and RFID wallet or purse combination work best? Could you just use a shield card in a short or long wallet be just as effective? Thank you to you and Timur for making these videos ☺️
No harm in combining them, but either one alone would be sufficient.
@@mxBug Thank you very much for the information and advice.
For one thing too many women walk with 3 to 5 credit cards in their purse. You only need one I used Wallet Defender here in America
how safe is Apple Pay with your debit or credit card on Apple pay
If you were wrong then perhaps the prudent thing to do would be to take down or update your previous video.
Can you make videos on how to use chameleon tiny pro
i think you may have found the other videos i have on this - let me know if there are aspects that arent covered
Do RFID cards still work?

First of all thank you for the information. Second, clashing rfid cards in a wallet are okay for safety, right?
So it's still best to just bash someone over the head and nick their wallet - damn! ;+}
Disappointed that you didn't try the RFID blocking on his reader since it could be more sensitive than the one you used.
