Yes, that caught my attention as well. Made me think of one of 3 possibilities:
      1. The people weren't real---perhaps dummies or mannequins with boots on?
      2. They were real people, but due to issues of "sensitivity", the rest of the video coverage cannot or will not be seen?
      3. One of them had an effective firearm and used it just in time??
      4. I guess a 4th possibility is the bear is a "domesticated" and "trained" one?????

Bluff charges are common with brown bears, and since the people are in a group, as long as they don't react, the bear will quickly lose all its confidence in the attack and stop charging. It's also in the water while they're on the riverbank, and they all most likely have bear spray ready if it does actually get to them.

Lots of trees down over the trail, climbing up n over n under. Was tired and ready to turn back I was leading three of us then about 12ft away mama bear? My heart sank-yup-two cubs shortly behind her. I stopped she saw me I bowed my head instructed my friends 🤫🤫🤫hand signaled a circle and down so they got it we slowly walked and climbed as quickly as possible those big ass trees became like sprinting over hurdles. I don’t think any of us breathed until we stopped at the trailhead. About 12 people stood in that lot stupefied and quiet until you heard my loud laugh, because mama heard me an glanced back at me like GOTCHA! 😂 she was behind us the whole time😳😆 I looked up put my hands together and thanked ‘mother’ nature in prayer. Then I went hm changed my underclothes🤣🤣🤣🙏🏻
