I love this man. Gorgeous, intelligent, great sense of humor. I love his accent; could listen to him talk all day. So happy he fought off his demons and is still here with us. He seems so content and happy with his life now. He just keeps getting better with age.
If 2016 has taught me anything, it is that we need to cherish and appreciate those true talents that we have left. I am so thrilled that George is sober and healthy and happy with his life. saw them in Atlanta in August of 2015 at the Fox theater. The show was fantastic and the crowd electric..George was happy and had a great time doing what he does best. I met John, Mikey and Roy eating lunch at an outside cafe the afternoon before the concert , they couldn't have been nicer and took pictures with me and my friend. Culture Club is magical and the sound they make only happens when the four of them get together and all contribute. That's why they are loved today and continue to delight us with heartfelt music, brilliant lyrics and melodies. Cant wait to buy TRIBES this year!

It was for dance music that he aimed for the resurrection. George 's passion starts with DJ and ends with DJ. I tremble in anger. For him the Culture Club is just a spin-off.

Kate Nash First of all BG does care, he was the one the that approached Jon Moss with the idea of getting together to make this album, and second yes this reality show in important to him, cause it would mean more publicity for Culture Club, which was a brilliant idea on his part, cause the show will fellow him on his tour, so he can't cancel anything because of his contract, don't be so hard on BG he is doing good by CC.
If he were really into CC, he would have done it by now. He approached Jon but it for his own selfish reasons as we can all see in the documentary not because he cares about the other guys. A reality show is not a brilliant idea because it will just show them arguing and fighting and not focus on the music. He's said in interviews it will focus a lot on his other projects. If it happens, CC I'm sure will only be a small part of it. If he claims to be sick or lose his voice, he can still cancel regardless of the contract because it's covered by insurance. Watch the documentary From Karma to Calamity and tell me if he's doing good by the other guys. George only does things for himself. he never thinks of the other guys for one second. You will see in the end I'm right.
I don't think just because he want to be serious and just want to work on this album makes him a bad person, I did see the documentary, and he clearly states! "I'm here to work" which means it is all about the band and the music, if it was just about him, why make an album with CC, he just made a very successful album on his own why make one with CC, it's because he does care, even if he doesn't show it, I know he does and so does CC or they wouldn't have done this album with him. I am sure it will bring success for the band, even if they are arguing on the show that is what CC is about drama and who does love drama!, it is obvious BG still loves Jon, and that is why he does what he does for him and CC., they have history together as ONE BAND not just BG or CC, it's THE BAND and he says that in this documentary but, everyone has their own point of view mine is positive and I wish them lots of luck in there future.
He wasn't being serious and professional. he was being nasty to the other guys. I was completely repulsed by how he treated Jon, Roy and Mikey in that documentary. It was just wrong. I don't love drama. I love music. Let's get back to the music. George's solo album was not a huge hit and neither was the tour he did. Fans wanted to hear the older stuff. So because the name CC is more marketable. George wants to do it for himself not for the others at all. George may say he's about the music, but really he still holds a grudge against Jon and is always trying to stick it to him. If George really wants this to work, he has to realize it's a band and he can't be in control of everything and bully the other guys. If it was really a band and George truly loved Jon he would be more generous towards him and the other guys. George said he doesn't want to split the money equally with the other guys, he wants to keep more for himself. That doesn't sound loving to me. My view is realistic. I wish things could work out but not unless George changes and becomes less of a selfish diva person. If he really does care, he needs to start showing it a lot more or Jon, Roy and Mikey will walk away. As Jon says in the documentary as you get older you can only put up with so much crap! Me and Jon and everyone else are getting sick of George's crap. Enough!
