You don’t need to apologize for showing real emotions! You were so nice to foster. That is tough and we do get attached to them unconditional love is awesome! Hang in there you are an amazing person.
We welcome them into our home but in reality they reside in our hearts. Give yourself grace. You did the right thing for HER and that is what unconditional love looks like.
❤❤❤virtual hug. Don't apologize, it's perfectly normal to get attached and be sad. Plus, there's obviously layers to what she meant to you and the timing of her arrival. Let yourself grieve, it's not dramatic.
Don’t apologize for loving her and letting her go. I had a beautiful dream Goldendoodle 2 years ago and after 4 months he found his forever home with a great family. He too came to me at a time that I really needed him but I wasn’t in a place to adopt him because I knew that I couldn’t give him what they could. Also If I kept him I wouldn’t have been able to continue to help other dogs find their people. I will always love him and treasure our time together! Fostering is a beautifully heartbreaking thing if your doing it right and you are! ♥️🐾
You have ever right to cry, Susie! I totally understand your sadness it is ok to be sad! You did a service so many people can't or won't do! One of my cats had 2 kittens, they were only a week old, when my hunter jack russell dog killed them 😢 sorry if that is alot 😢 i cryed for a week about 1 week old kittens 😸 it was absolutely devastating to our whole family! Fostering animals is that you care for that animal unconditionally! Then you let it go to a new family, so beautiful for the but you are ok to be sad! You are stron and beautiful 😍
Omg, please do not apologize. I'm sitting here crying for you ❤️ being a foster mama is so incredibly tough, and I commend you for taking that on! Honestly, I have so much respect for you, knowing that it just wasn't the best time for you to be a responsible dog owner instead of making the emotional decision. You helped both of those babies have amazing starts to life and taught them how to love ❤️ thank you for being you!
@susiewaslike I know so many negative things get posted by keyboard trolls. I just wanted to send some good vibes and love your way while you're working through the transition of being a foster mama. You're an amazing human, and don't let anyone get you down ❤️
Sending you big hugs! ❤You bring so much joy through your videos so I would love to see you pursue posting regularly. Of course, I will take whatever you have to give. Pamper yourself. ❤
The fact is that you are even sharing the struggle of “what do I want to be” is so relatable, I appreciate you sharing! Love you through your journey no matter what, just keep doing you!! 💓💓
You def will find another. When I got cooper from the shelter he was there with his sister. Unfortunately the sister was on hold so I could only take him. But best dogs in the world.
You are a kind and strong person for fostering those pups. I don't think I could do it because I don't think I could handle having to give the pet up. My kitty passed away 2 years ago in May, and I miss and think of her everyday. I don't think I will get another one because the hurt from the loss is so great, and I don't want to go through it again if something happened.
Oof saw the title and related, I was a complete puddle after letting my first foster go and I had her for 2weeks🥺it does get better and I have fostered since and no goodbye has come close to the pain of the first ❤️it’s really an amazing thing to do for the dogs and the shelter although its not always easy it ultimately can be so rewarding

Fostering is one of the most beautiful things you can do! And it’s totally natural to have the emotions you are feeling. Give yourself lots of Grace!
