Congratulations on your new puppy! For anyone reading this: I know that dog training can be difficult sometimes, but you're doing great. Keep up the good work, and your dog (and your own sanity) will thank you for it! ❤️💕
He's adorable. Congrats on your new addition. ❤ I have a lil maltipoo man. He's just 10 months old now, 10 lbs. His name is Ozzy. He looks similar to your baby boy, B . So cute and such smart, sweet affectionate little dogs 😍😭 My little man was also puppy pad trained... however as soon as I brought him home we did not purchase them and started him immediately going outside only. Caught him the first day trying to squat as he typically did in the home he lived in prior and stopped him immediately... Said ah no, Ozzy. Bad! Left the tinkle for a minute (cleaned well after) and opened my back door and said "yes.. outside", place him in grass and said "yes, go potty"..."good boy, Ozzy!"... big, big cheers and loving on him after he relieved himself for the first time outside. 🤩 No accidents since. Can't let him roam the house first thing in the morning or after he wakes, eats or sleeps a while... if you crate train or use a play pen somehow I suggest immediately after taking them out of their space and they wake up they should go outside, first thing. I didn't do it first thing on the first day myself because I wanted to catch him before he attempted to go in my house. I say "yes outside" repeatedly, every time I open the back door and "yes, good boy", "potty outside" after placing or now walking him in the grass. He learned by one evening ... he was sitting by the back door. At first he didn't even know how to do basic commands... now he sits and speaks or rings a little Jingle Bell... I have hanging by the back door, to let me know he's gotta go out 😊 I also taught him to use a crate, leash and harness right away... Along with speak, settle, Hi-5, stay, gentle, take it, leave it, quiet, off, come, down, also lie down. 😊 it's all about timing and the dogs psychology. My little guy has a high prey drive for lizards so "leave it" was essential. I placed food on the floor and covered it with my hand... had him "sit".. removed my hand and told him to "leave it" and every time he tried to eat it I would say "ah leave it" followed by "sit"... Or "good boy -leave it" if he would not leave it alone I would then cover it up with my hand and say "ah leave it"... eventually he's now leaving things alone... Unless or until I say "take it"... Which by the way comes in handy if you drop any type of medicine or vitamins around the little fellow by accident.. don't want him touching anything like that... I recommend at least a basic puppy class... it has worked wonders because it's all about timing really, I've learned... That and telling him over and over and over good boy for all the things he does right... Not just with treats... Eventually your attention is the reward goal 😂😊❤ Best of luck with your sweet boy I wish you and yours all the best as well❤😊

This is mad, I just got a maltipoo too about a month ago!😊 I love your videos (I’m from the UK and live in London but I lived in Berlin a couple of years ago) Congrats 🐾🐶
He is really cute, i wanted one but the rules for a dog in Germany i read some and was totally turned off, i thought it was absurd and prison like, it would nice if you could do a video about rules of having a dog in Germany
You're not supposed to wake up any puppy or dog to go relieve themselves, when they wake up on there own you let them outside to do there business and after they eat you do it again after 30 mins or so.
@@IzzyYurii How can a puppy whine in there sleep? I have raised puppies before , you don't wake them up while they sleep they need to sleep when they wake up on there own you take them out
@@ZoieMarie will you be including him in all or most of your vlogs? Also is Germany a dog friendly country 😅 it would be nice if you’re able to share more info as your pup grows what it’s like having a dog in Germany. I’m a dog mom,so I’m excited for you. Congrats on your new addition 🥰🤍
@@bianca_racc Oh yeah, he will be in majority of vlogs and I can give a run down of the processes of owning a dog here. But as an FYI Germany is VERY dog friendly (imo)
He is soooo cute 🥰 When you said announcement, I wasn't thinking baby and definitely wasn't thinking puppy. I've always wanted a fur baby. In the U.S., a lot of apartments charge a pet fee to have animals. Is that a thing in Germany?
Lol yes a fur baby 😁 and there isn’t much laws here abt having a pet in an apartment BUT you must ask your landlord and every landlord is different. We are allowed pets so it worked out
Don’t make the mistake of feeding your dog that dry food. If you want the recipe for what I give my dog let me know? And whatever you do don’t give your dog tapwater !!!
Our vet said it’s fine to take him to areas where dogs do not frequent as we should potty train him from the start or it will become a bad habit. He’s also got 2 of his major vaccines already
@@Buttabrown Yeah, we didn't want this. And in the beginning we let him potty in the house and he started getting a bit more wild and now he's calming down more since we take him outside
Congratulations on your new puppy!

A pupdate! 😄Beau seems so chill and unbothered. ❤
He is (sometimes) lol but when it comes to being away from me for like 2 min he becomes very bothered 😭
So cute. We love our Maltipoo too. They can be a little loud, but so loving.
Our pup is actually really quiet ! But yes, we love Maltipoo’s too!
For Potty Training
Put him on a Schedule
Take Him outside to
Potty on waking
Take him Outside shortly
After feeding each meal
Regardless of the Time
They have smaller bladders
And intestines and Most
Likely will have to go
Within 15 minutes to
A half hour after eating
You will be more aware
Of his personal Potty
Habits with more time
And can adapt the
Schedule as needed
Then Take him outside
Every 2 1/2 to 3 hours
Rather he actually goes
Potty or Not
It will help him get
Scheduled
They are very Smart
And learn quickly
It's important that you
Become Firm to the
Schedule it will make
It so much faster for
Him to become House
Broken And Potty Trained
