This video was perfect...not negative whatsoever. Very helpful. You hit all the key points that I was curious about now raising 3 Maltipoo puppies myself. My landlord/surrogate father had 2 Maltipoos when I moved in and within a couple of weeks I just fell in love with them and that was 7 years ago. But last year they had both passed away within 2 months of one another. Loosing those two guys was one of the hardest things I had ever gone through. But a few months ago I asked if we could get two more and he agreed. Well when it came time to go and get the two sisters there was still one sister left and my surrogate dad couldn't separate the three sisters so I am now the mom to three Maltipoo puppies! But since I wasn't here to see the first two brothers grow up I didn't know exactly what to do with the three new little ones but thanks to your video you have helped me out tremendously! The two big ones for me are the potting training and grooming. Grooming being the BIGGEST issue for me. Now I know what to do and not to do when it comes to keeping all three of them looking well groomed.
Congratulations on your videos. I think you are a very mature 14 year old, and I really enjoy your eloquence, and ability to communicate. I already have a dog (a chihuahua mix) but I want to get another one so he'd have somebody to play with. I used to have a Beagle ( who died some months ago), so he's used to being with another dog and misses his big brother.

Thank you so much for doing this video. We are first time Maltipoo owners (as of one month ago today) and I already see a few 'mistakes' we've made with Bailey. Thanks to your video, we're in the process of correcting those (grooming, socialization, and separation anxiety). We had 2 larger dogs that passed a couple of years ago and having a new puppy has been both a god-send and an eye-opener. Thank you again for your wonderful videos and spot on advice.
I have had my maltipoo for a month now. This was good advice. My biggest mistake I’ve made with it the potty pads. I left them for accidents and now that’s the only place she goes to the bathroom. When we are outside she will cry at the door to be let in to go to the bathroom.
I love your video! I'm going to try to groom our Maltipoo puppy tomorrow, she was spayed last week & can't be bathed so we had to change her & our 13 yr old poodles grooming appt! I pray I do a good job! I've been watching many videos about it on here & got a grooming kit! I wasn't allowed to have pets growing up & for my 47th bday (I'm 68 now) we've had 4 dogs! We had Poodles for the 1st 3 & decided on a Maltipoo this time! Ellie is so funny & precious & we use peepads & Ellie's not learning as fast! Hopefully she will catch on soon! She didn't want to go outside either! She's getting better at using the peepad & I pray she continues!

That's good to hear! We've been working on socialization it too. It's hard because we haven't been seeing as many dogs because of covid. Hopefully that'll change soon and we can start socializing him more!
We are adopting 2 maltipoo’s in late November when they will be 9 weeks old; a brother and sister! I enjoyed your video and look forward to more videos. We’ve always owned large dogs, but at our age (70’s) we need lap dogs that will lick and love us! We are a little nervous now, though! I hope we can handle it!😳
Very informative video! Thank you. Trying to decide what dog is best for our family. Never had a dog but considering it now because we are all home most of the time due to Covid
I developed an alternate potty method. I have a stack of 6 two sided cotton bath mats (no rubber side), I trained her to use one of those --- placed on a large plastic crate liner --- both mat & liner have to be the same size. I trained her to the mat, and I put them in the washer as they get dirty As for grooming, I took over with the Pandemic. You need a very quiet rechargable clipper.(Oneisall)I have 3 other clippers --- a hand size Conaire, one the size of a pen with a 1/2" clipping head. All have guides to keep from hurting the dog. Also I keep nails in check by using only a grinder. Dog won't have a nail clipper. The grinder does it all.
You have really good and helpful suggestions. I think you should consider creating a booklet of them all. As the momma to a 14 year old HavaPoo rescue baby,. I could have used these ideas when I first rescued my Holly 12 years ago.
My Molly is the boss of me. She's very smart and wilful. I made all those mistakes and might have taken heart from your video but it's too late for us, since she is now an old lady's dog. We go everywhere together and if places are not dog-friendly, we don't go there. I have to go now, Molly says it is bedtime.
Thank you! He actually does get tear stains but they're not too noticeable. We find that giving him baths often and keeping the hair trimmed near the eyes helps a bit.
My maltipoo has separation anxiety whenever I left her home she whould cry for the first 5 minutes but she whould stop and we also have an Alexa and it watches her but we don't talk through it cause she might wonder where are we and she also likes to sleep she's my little guard dog.🐶
Fantastic video. I have a 6 month old Maltipoo and found it very helpful. What food does he eat? We have had such a challenge with her food situation...
Ooops!!! I may have a groomer to shave Simba’s ears. I didn’t even comb that beautiful mane on top of his ears. It is hard to tell what is mat and what is ear!!! The most important thing to groom is his poop hole. It is dangerous to be lax on this. He whines at the top of his voice the whole time I am out and it is hard to recall him when playing with other dogs. The only time it is really bad is when he can crawl under a fence. I do bring his favorite treats to the park and collaborate with other dog owners to make sure our dogs are in hand. You underlined many of our mistakes with Simba. The poo bell was very clever. I lucked out with potty training somehow. Simba is so loved by everybody and makes forever friends at cafes and every passer by. Your dog is beautiful. We all love our maltipoos
You were the reason I got my little maltipoo. I have a problem and I need some help! So when we got Chloe the owner said she was 8 weeks when she was 6 weeks, she just grew most of her teeth a week ago but she has no front teeth so she can’t eat hard kibble or treats bc they just fall out so she’s been at my house for 2 weeks without training she is currently 7 weeks Turing 8 weeks in Wednesday she has been socialized to a couple of people my 2 cousins my 2 friends and my grandparents. She is crate training we have let her home alone 2 times and I have been practicing leaving her alone she I pretty much potty trained except she only goes pee on the pee pads (she doesn’t have shots so she can’t go outside) but she hates pooping on pee pads she is also teething really bad the vet said to whine like a dog when she bites I tried but I sound like a dying animal so she bites harder. Any way any tips on how to train her and how to fix most of these problems also she is TERRIFIED of water but she is starting to finally drink her water
you should watch videos from Me or the Dog. her videos shows tips and tricks is what i think would help with rosco's behavior with other dogs and people outside the home
We use Tropiclean gentle coconut dog shampoo and PetBrush brand detangler odor control conditioner 3 in 1. For food, we feed Rosco Wellness for puppy: deboned chicken, oatmeal, and salmon recipe.
@@DelightfulPaws yes i have a maltipoo, 5 months old now (had him at 10 weeks). So many useful tips, including the Comb (recommended by breeder), it must have been pulling because he didn't like it at all, he takes so much better to the brush. thanks again !
I just got my maltipoo yesterday, this channel has helped so much! I’m always waiting for your new videos :) I just had a question, do you leave Rosco alone in the house? If you do, where do you leave him?
I got a maltipoo yesterday and we left him in a small area contained for 2 hours where he could eat, sleep and play. He didn't make any trouble he just took a nap, since we played and tired him out with him before we left. My puppy only cries a little at night so he has been doing well thankfully!
Hi beautiful girl! After I washed your video I don’t feel bad about my first pet anymore because I have make all same mistakes like you. I have learned many lessons from these mistakes and still love a dog so much. Your baby is so cute ❤️ thank you for your sharing 😘
I love the video, we just got a baby maltipoo and i guess we started to make those mistake , her name is Ollie , she is 10 weeks old , but she is so picky with her food , we been having problems to feed her 😔
Rosco went through a phase of going in the house a lot, but it was mostly because we weren't paying enough attention to when he needed to go potty. We put in a potty bell so he could tell us when he needed to go out and that helped. I'm not exactly sure by what age he stopped going in the house, but I think it was around 6 or 7 months.

We go everywhere together and if places are not dog-friendly, we don't go there. I have to go now, Molly says it is bedtime.
Hi! I enjoyed your video. I noticed Rosco doesn't have tear stains. How do you help with that?
He eats Wellness for Puppy Deboned Chicken, Oatmeal, and Salmon mix. I put the link to the food in the description if you'd like to check it out.
@@DelightfulPaws Thank you :)
Thanks so much! We are getting a maltipoo in two months
I'm thrilled this was helpful to you!
Im loving these videos thank you❤
This was so helpful, thank you!
Where was this video three years ago when I first got my maltipoo 😪
I just got a maltipoo...from a korean pet store and she is 5 weeks old 😮.
Try wet food! It helps my dog a lot a little pricey but worth it
@@Mai-qq9qn we are feeding her wet food! She goes through the cams fast tho
In Trinidad it's like $3500 to $5500 for one
YESSSSS YOU HIT 1K
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video
Love your videos! ❤
Thank you so much! I'm so glad😄
Love this!
This is such an awesome video! I know I am super late, but just wanted to say keep up the great work, I just subscribed! 😉
Thank you! This means so much to me 😊
@@DelightfulPaws :-)
The potty bell is a genius idea!!
So far it’s working well for us!
The socializing and the alone time same here
you should watch videos from Me or the Dog. her videos shows tips and tricks is what i think would help with rosco's behavior with other dogs and people outside the home
Thanks for the recommendation! :)
What shampoo and conditioner do you use ?
What kind of food do you give your baby ?
We use Tropiclean gentle coconut dog shampoo and PetBrush brand detangler odor control conditioner 3 in 1. For food, we feed Rosco Wellness for puppy: deboned chicken, oatmeal, and salmon recipe.
Really really really helpful thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome! I’m so happy this could help!
@@DelightfulPaws yes i have a maltipoo, 5 months old now (had him at 10 weeks). So many useful tips, including the Comb (recommended by breeder), it must have been pulling because he didn't like it at all, he takes so much better to the brush. thanks again !
How did you work on his barking and on leaving him alone home. Also, how long do you leave him alone?
I just got my maltipoo yesterday, this channel has helped so much! I’m always waiting for your new videos :)
I just had a question, do you leave Rosco alone in the house? If you do, where do you leave him?
I got a maltipoo yesterday and we left him in a small area contained for 2 hours where he could eat, sleep and play. He didn't make any trouble he just took a nap, since we played and tired him out with him before we left. My puppy only cries a little at night so he has been doing well thankfully!
I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! We leave Rosco in a puppy-proofed room that we gate off and with some toys for him to play with while we're gone.
Does he bark a lot?? I’m really considering get one
Would love to know the breeder of Roscoe. Love Maltipoos.
Awesome!! Soo helpful love video and in between clips! Im getting mines on Jan 12, 2020 he’ll be 7 weeks!! New subscriber!!!😍
Thanks so much for subscribing! I'm glad you enjoy the in between clips.🙂
Thanks!
Hi beautiful girl! After I washed your video I don’t feel bad about my first pet anymore because I have make all same mistakes like you. I have learned many lessons from these mistakes and still love a dog so much. Your baby is so cute ❤️ thank you for your sharing 😘
I love the video, we just got a baby maltipoo and i guess we started to make those mistake , her name is Ollie , she is 10 weeks old , but she is so picky with her food , we been having problems to feed her 😔
I love your videos💖💖💖
Thank you so much!!
Rosco is just so so soooooo cute
I have a Maltipoo too, made all the same mistakes, Luna still 💩 in the house sometimes
Thinking if getting a Maltipoo. This has been very helpful. Thank you!
I’m so glad it could help you out!
Hi, we have a 14 week old maltipoo and he is non stop nipping and biting and jumping. Did this happen with Rosco?
Amazing!!! Thank you!!! Xxx
Did Rosco make its pee and poop in the house ? If it did, how did you overcome this and how old was Rosco when it had a tidy toilet habbit ?
Rosco went through a phase of going in the house a lot, but it was mostly because we weren't paying enough attention to when he needed to go potty. We put in a potty bell so he could tell us when he needed to go out and that helped. I'm not exactly sure by what age he stopped going in the house, but I think it was around 6 or 7 months.
My niece's dog is really cute but sometimes she gets really hyper with us and starts running and barking and play biting. Any tips? She's 10 months.
I’m trying to find a good dog breed that weighs about 5 pounds at the most and I was just curious
Never making these mistakes when I get my maltipoo
Yea my maltipoo has little dog syndrome too😂 I got her right when Covid started so she’s a sweet little spoiled brat
What food u give?
i have a year and a half old malitpoo, and i need advice about training her!
