  • Close up look at Bul Armory’s Cherokee.
A CZ75 clone produced in Israel from 2009-2022.
As of August 2023 online retailers are being super aggressive with pricing - do a Google search - grabagun.com usually has good list of lowest prices.
Would love to hear from you if you have experience with this firearm - please share so others researching can make informed decisions.
VIDEO UPDATE - strange noise of video when racking slide was due to guide rod being slightly off center after reassembly. Closer look at video here:

Paid 279 for mine off grabagun. Super accurate for me, ergonomics of the grip are superb. Trigger is pretty damn good too! For the price, it's a no-brainer

Archer- Agree totally on ergonomics, accuracy. Trigger better than many others at bigger $$$. I've run 2 115 and 2 124 gr FMJ brass brands without 1 issue, to the tune of about 500 rounds so far. VERY happy. I put it right there with my Stoeger STR-9 and Tisas PX-9, ALL @ $299! Would easily recommend them all. Throw in a Canik TP9 Elite and a CZ P10c and you're done looking! EVERY one cheaper than any Glock, and every bit as good for all the right reasons.

I bought one about a year ago. Pros it's very accurate and has one of the best grips in my opinion. Also, what you didn't mention was there is a notable half cocked position on the hammer that can be a small compromise if one wants to carry it in the double action mode. Unfortunately the CONs: The double action trigger is very heavy, the thumb safety is impossible for me to reach with one hand, parts, magazines and holsters good luck finding any. There is no way to covert the thumb safety to a decocker, thus the only way to decock is to trip the trigger and lower the hammer manually. In addition if anyone wants to carry in concealed, the 17 round magazine comes with a rather long grip making concealability difficult. So if you are not into single action semi autos, I would skip this one.

1,000% accurate - all your comments. Totally agree. If not so inexpensive I would probably pass because I want a decocker. This will most likely be a range toy or truck gun - IF, like you said, I can find any kind of holster to keep it in!!! THANK YOU for watching!!!

Got mine off GrabAGun- $299. Price is current. Yes, dbl action trigger not ideal, but single action is very nice after. Also- do NOT fill mags with 17, only 16. Also, if you can draw, rack and point in under 5 seconds, which just about anyone should be able to do, even from a fanny pack, you'll be just fine.@@TheArkansasGunGuy

      They dont take CZ mags?

    • @DDDYLN

So it's essentially a 1911 with a DA pull with the hammer down. That alone kills it for me, because I would want to carry it with the hammer down. Manually lowering the hammer is a safety issue. Am I missing something, or is that how it works?

    • @leostryer1757
      @leostryer1757 Месяц назад

@@DDDYLN Manually lowering the hammer is not necessarily unsafe. The gun has a half cock safety that could catch the hammer should it fall prematurely from ones thumb. However one has to be careful doing so. Also keep in mind the DA trigger pull is very heavy one this handgun.

I got a compact about a year ago and love it. Safety is stiff, I pull it out occasionally to work it. Hopefully it loosens up. The one bitch I have is a lack of holsters. I'm looking for a FS Cherokee now.

Lining the dots up is very vague. The pin will come out in like two stages, putting some good oil on it really helps but, you have to have it aligned pretty exact for it to come out in one push.

Mine works flawlessly just had 1 grip but its normal on most hand guns. Got to break in the magizines. They are 17rd so i put in 10 leave a week put 12 leave then 13 then 15 so on. Other than that i love the feel, its accurate and love the trigger and looks. On yours take it apart and spray some amsoil cleaner the amsoil lube oil ir lucas gun oil. Give it time its just built tight and the slide is internal on the rails instead of like Smith &Wesson and Taurus the slide is external or outer

Showed up today. Replica of my 07 . Holster different. Gonna CK it out tomorrow. Just a tad bit wider in the takedown lever..
Mid size gun. Not a 365 by any means. But still nice for the price.
Instrasting that's it's the lowest form on their line up.
Every thing else is 1k + this is what sold me for quality!!

I just got mine a few weeks ago. I have to say for my first semi auto pistol I am NOT impressed.
The rear sight is fixed and machined off center by .015 or more and is not adjustable.
After taking it down, I found a BURR ON THE
BARREL, I ended up stoning it down with my
    precision ground stones.
There were also other high spots inside the gun and the guide rod also is machined very rough, I ended up stoning the guide rod also but recommend cleaning up the guide rod in a lathe, mill, or drill press with sand paper.

I'm confused as to how it's a DA/SA pistol, if it doesn't have a decocker, and is meant to be carried cocked and locked. When the hammer is down, I assume the DA trigger pull works like a revolver. However, if you rack a round, the hammer will be cocked. How do you lower the hammer safely for DA mode?
