Thats because we no longer have womens/Lesbian bookstores, Lesbian spaces, women only spaces by and for Lesbians and women only, Lesbian bars, events, conferences, and many Festivals, though there are still some by and for Lesbians and women only, Lesbian women only concerts, and yes Feminist and Lesbian centered political and social groups we USED TO HAVE. We had seamless spaces BY AND FOR Lesbians. And our Potlucks. Many, many potlucks. If Lesbian and womyn and Lesbian only spaces are verboten, then its very hard to connect without the diconnected suggestions you are making. Accidental instead of deliberate spaces BY AND FOR US. Away from heterosexual men or gay male heavy spaces by and for just for us!! We HAD this. But once our Lesbian/ Women spaces were villified; we lost our bookstores, groups, Festivals, Lesbian focused or Lesbian exclusive groups and events, conferences, and gatherings....been out 43 years, and I never seen it so bad for Lesbians...
