have you ran into the issue of not being able to invite people when youre in your own mulitplayer lobby? when i click the right stick nothing happens so i cant invite my friend its very frustrating. we have all the same dlc downloaded bc we have played together several times
Hey looney im currently working on a save that is not in multiple on elm creek. Cheated in money bought all the land that is easy to combine into large fields and fast farmed everything really quickly so not much time invested. Im going to buy all the best base game equipment (x9 combines 9rxs auger wagons a semi everything) and put some mother bins on the field edges. After i get done i plan to put in online as an everyone welcome to join map. Risky i know but if it goes south i just hope it does it in the most absurdly entertaining way possible lol. When i import that save to multipi player and delete all the mods to make it easy for people to join will all of the base game equipment i bought still be on the map online or will i need to rebuy the equipment in multiplayer?
All the base game equipment should still be where you left it . and anything you have done with the mods . Let me know how it goes . I can 't remember if you said you were on Discord or not . There is a lot of resorses on the FS discord / Help, and players looking for other players ect 😊

I don’t care if people do a sub par job i just don’t want any trouble makers if possible. Its all just for fun after all. @@harryhunter-i8l It has been a while , As the host you can lock a player out of the farm so he can not enter any equipment or spend any money Here is the Farm sim / Giants discord . Lots of players and such in here discord.com/invite/giantssoftware

In settings you have to assign your friend to be a farm manager and then they can help you and use your equipment . They must do the same so you can work their land

Giants are still having lots of issues with their multiplayer servers so it sounds like you have tried all the standard things . From what I hear they are still working to resolve the issue . Try to be patient 😃
Good question 😃 There are 2 ways how this can work . #1 With the way shown in this video , The Host must be playing on the map for others to join . #2 You can rent a server and then anyone that you have granted access to can play anytime . I do not know much about renting a server aside from many players use G Portal for this service , but I am not sponsored by them . 😃
It can be tricky at times . Is it saying as why ? Make sure that the one joining has Every Mod that the host has . Make sure the hose settings alow them to join ,and that you provided the password . Passwords are Case sensitive . There are lots of things that can go wrong when tring to join a game . I hope that helps 🙏
