This is really helpful advice and well adapted to the audience of mostly amateur athletes that Ultimate players are. Keep up the awesome work.
Efficiency is such an overlooked factor.

    Great plan, thanks for sharing
Gonna give it a go this year
Because to put 3 frisbee practice + 3 gym + some stretching is really a challenge. Especially when you have full time job, relationship and etc

I’m really interested in this kind of stuff. Can you share more about how you plan your training? Like how heavy would you lift; how many reps; do you prefer a upper lower split, push pull leg or full body workout? I know a lot of these depends on the time you have, but just want to hear you share more on this topic. Great video!

That’s extremely helpful you don’t know how much I struggled trying to find out how to workout or how to organize my straining as I told you days ago on instagram😍
Can’t wait to see your next video about strength training details🤗

Hey Justin! Just recently found your instagram after I friend directed me towards it. Just started checking out your RUclips videos and podcasts you’ve released.
I have a question on splitting up lifting days with practice days. Let’s say I have practice MWF in the evening or at night. Would lifting Tuesday and Thursday morning give enough time for recovery between these high intensity practices/lifts? Basically, have a high intensity practice Monday night, sleep, then Tuesday morning have a high intensity strength workout. You would then have most of Tuesday, Tuesday night’s sleep, and most of Wednesday until evening practice where you are not doing high intensity work.

Yea that woks too! What's "enough" is relative to each person. What's most important is what works best for you. From my experience, the more rest you can get between days the better, so this sounds like it could work!

I agree with what you’re saying but I would advise you to be a bit more nuanced with your advice.
If training load greatly exceeds previous baselines then your body will not be able to recovery from it. So it’s important to not spike load and there is such thing as over training.
