I have a ton of pul that has cute prints already on them??…. How can I make all of this without having to use the extra cotton fabric- I never have luck sewing pul…???
anything with waterproofing has chemicals. PUL Food Safe is the only Food safe fabric. It has a shiny side that can be wiped off, still stains but when it comes to food safety it is not always pretty. Vinyl is or has cancerous causing chemicals.
You definitely could add a zipper instead! We think hook and loop tape is a little easier so it makes these projects accessible for beginners! Here's a pattern for a zippered bag, if you prefer: www.allpeoplequilt.com/bags-pillows-gifts/bags-and-purses/easy-zippered-pouch
I use a zipper and it works great. I actually would not use a velcro type anything around food....for cleaning reasons and just another thing to damage the kids clothing. Yes if you do not know how to sew in a zipper I guess that is ok, but then I would use a fold over top instead.
Can't wait to make gift sets of these! But would love to include the countertop drier, so could you please include the link to it? Thanks!
The link to the countertop drying rack is here: www.amazon.com/Full-Circle-Branch-Sinkside-Drying/dp/B08372W9YD

Is this Food Safe??
Look for Food Safe Waterproof fabrics.
I see this product is listed as "non-toxic", but is it food safe?
There are some brands of PUL that are food-safe! Make sure you check the label.
Why only some pul fabrics- all pul fabrics is used for cloth diapers if it’s not food safe then what about the diapers…??
Why velcro? Why not a zipper instead?
