I completely understand the concept of "doing what you can do" and not "worrying" about what others are doing during competition, etc. But..Brooke, wouldn't it be more advantageous to figure out healthy and mature way(s) to overcome that anxiety rather than avoid it all together? You are, after all, competing to win, get a better time than others, etc etc. I don't understand this mindset. Is it an emotional maturity issue? I doubt she'll read this or engage with anyone who comments. Shes shown many times that she can't handle constructive criticism.
in my gym burpees are meant to be chest and hips on the floor, then fully standing with straight back and arms up for the jump. Also snatches both ends of the DB are supposed to make contact with the floor. Good effort but this would have not counted in my gym.
She's not ruining her body, she's doing what she likes and doing pretty well. The body comes with the mind, and her mind is not on fitness channel but on competition. You are what you do! yep, can definitely see air gap under the dumbbell on several occasion’s at 2:00 mark.
Burpees over are different than regular burpees. No need to stand tall with hands over the head
