    Would bad diaphragms cause the micro switch to throw causing the unit to shut down ??? As if the magnet goes too far in one direction.... thanks

    What's the average time frame these parts go bad?

      Depends on the system and what region of the country you are in. Up in the northern states we see 4-5 years on average for them on brand new units. Down south it goes to 3-4 some units it’s 2-3 because of back pressure so it’s not the unit it’s the septic manufacturer using different types of diffuser stones that create more back pressure. Life time in a Hiblow with rebuilding is 10-14 years after that amount of time we recommend to get a new unit.
