My personal theory for this Sim is that they are an unlicensed doctor, tending to patients out of their house because of your comment about the hospital kitchen. I'm thinking maybe they practice psychiatry. That could explain the sofa; it's where patients can lie down. The holes in the walls could be from patients with anger management issues. The backyard haybails could be where group sessions are done, with the ghost representing inner demons.
OH MY GOD yes that’s exactly the story of this house!!! It actually makes me kinda like the house now with that story line and I could see myself making a crazy scientist doctor living here for a let’s play 🤔

I am convinced this is exactly how EA designs and builds the premade houses in the game and the townies clothing as well
maybe you could try every 5th item? so not just the 5th, but also 10,15,20 or whatever. but in order to get to 20 you have to use 5,10, and 15 or something like that

Congratulations on 5k 🎉 The rug made me laugh hard. 😂I can’t believe how these builds get crazier and crazier. I don't want to pick on you, but when choosing windows you took into account those from CC, but to be fair that’s good because the fifth window was some weird one from Werewolves pack.

As someone who currently has a basketball in their kitchen for the first time in their life and not because I play, this was a weird coincidence.

Every student house ever!! The landlord has had the house for CENTURIES and only updated things that have broken, hence why nothing matches. Reminds me of my bfs student house tbh lol
Yesssss I also lived in a student house like that too where everything is falling apart but for some reason everything still works 😂😂❤️
Idk exactly what it would look like, but if you put the flooring in triangle mode and rotated it, it might have been a way of getting rid of the brick edges on the kitchen floor or making them look cooler. Also if you do this challenge again it might be nice to also be able to use the 5th swatch from the by category sort to be able to focus in on some categories like the different couch widths.
I think the shortcut for painting just a wall instead of room is the Alt key

If you would have chosen the ghost wall the ghost light would have worked great. Maybe they are ghost hunters and decorate their office in ghosts.

Do something like this again but use every single individual category and place all the items on the lot before building the house then you gotta put every single item you pulled out into the build! Every surface, decor, appliances, etc...

Try this challenge again but go by 5s. If the 5th item doesn't make sense, use the 10th or 15th or 20th, etc.

You should try doing this again but with five from the bottom. Since five from the top of the list are usually the cheapest items, five in from the bottom will be more expensive and funky looking too!

You should do a google house eg google bedroom and the first photo that come up is the one you use as inspiration and for all the rooms!

I just don't get why you would "cheat" the challenge sometimes by choosing the tipe of the thing you wanted (like the bed or toilet) and then, other times, much needed in my opinion, you didn't, like the rugs, or the wall paintings..
Also, i think sometimes you just forgot that you could change swatches, cause some itens you just throw there, without making the best color choice
