the product is good but do you have to turn it on using the button every time you switch on the pc , is there any option to keep it on all the time ?

Mine is always on. As I have it connected via USB directly to my desktop - with Always ON USB. There should be a setting for this I think (answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-keep-usb-ports-powered-after-shutdown-on/eb1038f5-e9be-42ea-9eed-eb4d5aa634c2)

There are indeed a lot of similarities between both but this is newer and in my personal opinion - sleeker. And it's got a little mountable thread on the back side.

To turn Loopback off, press and hold the Direct Monitor button till you hear "Loopback Off"
