It's worth looking back at the extraordinary ride this multi-talented vocalist, musician, producer, and versatile songwriter has been on ever since he arrived in Los Angeles as an aspiring artist in July 2014. While his life has changed since the early years when he would disguise his voice and pretend to be his own manager while cold-calling record company executives, the New Jersey-bred Puth has established himself as a global star by remaining deeply relatable, both as an individual and as a performer. Puth first fell in love with music growing up by the shore in Rumson, New Jersey He credits his supportive parents for his early music education, citing his idol James Taylor as his primary influence.

A part of a new generation. This guy is completely self conscious, the way he learns, talks, sees, sings or moves is calculated before he do it, I admire him, I enjoy seeing a smart guy giving the example.
"see you again" came out the year my hubby passed away of brain cancer... this song was played at his funeral... still gives me chills and tears everytime I hear it... this beautiful song came from above for sure... love seeing how these two created it... So talented...

The events and trivia revealed in this video moved me. The fact that both the songwriters had been under emotional stress at that point and could create something so beautiful, has left me moist eyed Their friends are lucky for whom this song was written It also somehow makes me realise to value my friends even more. Thanks to not just Charlie Puth but Frank E as well. I Hope both of you make many more meaningful songs together in future.
