My understanding is that it is like saying "yes, sir." So, for example an inferior to a superior or a hotel worker to a guest etc etc. Not really used by Farangs like us tbh, but usually used by ex-pat Farangs that hear others say it and then use it incorrectly thinking that they are such good Thai speakers 55

I don't understand. No is pronounced "tai?" or "chai?" Everywhere else is saying "chai," I don't understand which is correct.
No = ไม่/mai
Yes = ใช่/chai
It definitely sounds like "thai' at 0:58 and then it changes again back to 'chai', then back to "my-thai" at 1:08 , then back to "my-chai' at 1:14 😕
