- This live performance was recorded in front of a sold-out crowd exceeding 18,000 fans on March 17, 2018 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Toto performed a wide range of songs, including hit singles, rarely performed live deep cuts, and two newly recorded tracks which appeared on their new Greatest Hits album (40 Trips Around The Sun).

lukathers playing blows my mind, this guy, his playing is light years ahead of any rock god today as far a we know, i am amazed, yes this band is the bomb, they are totally out of this world,. and this is the whole band, they are so very tight,. practically speechless,.......................

Watching Luke play is nothing short of absolutely the best guitar player around. I remember when I first listen to Toto in the late 70s his guitar approach was genuous, and his sound sometime totally different. Wow just great!
this line up did sooo much to bring Toto back to the peak ... after a lot of tragedy ... they blew it apart every night !! i know i followed them all over Europe .. consummate professional's

Mind blowing version. The whole band is absolutely cooking. Super tight. Closest drumming style and sound of Jeff porcaro I ever heard.
These Toto shows have the best live sound I’ve ever heard. You hear it like at home on your best speakers. Amazing. Contrast to Foreigner show I just saw….loud and painful and I had to move seats. I paid for front row and had to move. Credit to these Toto masters of music and taste. Will see them this year.
The best guitar tone in the industry. Steve Lukather is something else.
I think David Gilmour has an edge there.
Lukather is the Gilmour of Fusion Rock. I ve seen him playing in Innsbruck with his small band in a small club some 12y ago... maybe 200 people. No difference, he doesnt care. I guess you can wake him up at 5am and 30 mins later you can put him on stage and he will give 150%

......Performances like this one show just how good this band always has been. Lukather, Porcaro, Castro, Patich, Forrest, Williams & anyone they hire to fill in for them. Toto is simply what the best look/sound like....
My favourite Toto track...why? Because of the amazing guitar solo from Lukather...on the album and live.
I remember seeing shannon back in 2010ish (a modern drummer gig) and i remember thinking "HOLY SHIT JEFF HAS REINCARNATED" and toto need to grab him.
The grateful bow to the bandmates at 5:46 after the most impressively melodic solo ever.
That's to his audience.

The drumming by Jeff on this whole album , not just this song, is superb. He is sadly missed.

I remember the first Time i Heard this song on the radio 1991 , i didn't know it was toto but i recognise their style ....Amazing experience , and i was so happy that they pushed the limit to jazz rock fusion stuff 🎉

@@KyleDavisMusic I think he was a perfect fit for the band because Jeff didn’t like to play that many fills he just liked to keep the groove. Kingdom Of Desire to me kind of saw Jeff steeping of out his comfort zone and playing more complex drum patterns, etc.

When Simon left I was afraid Toto never found a worthy drummer ever again. Then Shannon came along. He is a more basic drummer ( less fills than Simon ) and almost got the Jeff vibe
