Your videos are so beautiful to watch. The colours are always so vibrant, the leaves moving in the wind, the birds flying in the background, just beautiful. Your jacket looks fab 👍👍
Beautiful colour on you. Makes your skin look so bright. Tessuti has some brilliant patterns and I own quite a few. You have made me intrigued with the boiled wool as it would be so hard to for go traditional sewing methods.
I love your videos! Highlight of my week! Can't stop smiling!! Great info styles and colours l love. You're a joy to watch. A great ambassador for Australia and sewing. X
Thank you for all the tips. About to make the Tessuti Amara Vest out of the spectacular Tessuti burnt orange boiled wool and it's my first time with sewing with this kind of fabric.
I love the teal colour with the browns of your dress. 30 years ago I had my colours done and I am an Autumn so I wear similar colours to you. I hadn't looked at my fabric colours for many years and just got it out to see I can wear Teal! Love it!
In the beginning modeling on the video I too thought those colors look so good on you. I forget about purposely pairing a sweater or jacket that has a color different from the print or solid worn. It looks great and makes it interesting.
Love, Love, LOVE that jacket, especially the color!!! Just gorgeous! I need to make one. It is supposed to be spring here but still many colder days. Last week we had snow!
Well done Kristen. I’ve had this pattern for over a year and haven’t made it. I think part of my issue is finding the boiled wool that I like. This is great inspiration to make it. Going to make a chore jacket first.
What A beautiful colour. And I love the kimono type shape. Thanks for the tips on checking the length before you cut. I too usually find patterns are far too long in the arms! I have never worked or even played with boiled wool. Is it at all itchy against your skin?
You are so welcome! Its actually not as itchy as I expected, more like a felt texture than an itchy texture! I'm usually the same with wool as it can irritate me too!
so good! this is currently in my pattern list. i'm scared of stuffing it up though with the pricey boiled wool. I'll be making a toile for sure! thanks for another great informative video :)
Peggy, where do you find boiled wool in the US? Do you have a source for thicker t-shirt fabric like we used to get long ago? I am in a south suburb of Chicago.
Very nice Jacket Kristen. And this color 😃. Spring is comming in France. It's a shame, we can't go outside 😯. I want to thank you to making me know STYLEARC. I have already tested 2 pants. The fît is perfect, you were right 👍
Nice material and nice color but I don't like the sleeve treatment. The dropped shoulders don't flatter a person at all and the bottom of the sleeve looks kind of sloppy. Sorry, I'm not being mean, I'm just giving my opinion.
@@thedahliasewciety = I'm sure that is nice. Actually a narrower bottom sleeve could be a fashion statement when it kind of contrasts with the upper part. : )
What a fab jacket Kristen ... the colour really suits you too 🧵😘
Oh thank you! I absolutely love it! xx
Thank you for the video. Love the jacket and the beautiful color. Really looks good on you.
Thanks for watching! So glad you like it! xx

Looks beautiful!!
Thank you! So glad you liked it!
Love the cardigan/ jacket! 🥰 I can’t do wool if I get a slightest itch too it, I go bananas! But I love the color and pattern I’m gonna have to get!
Its really nice to wear, more like a felt texture than normal wool! Its a great pattern, ,maybe you could try it in a ponte?
Love, Love, LOVE that jacket, especially the color!!! Just gorgeous! I need to make one. It is supposed to be spring here but still many colder days. Last week we had snow!
Oh it still sounds so cold, not long now, hopefully by the time lockdown is all over the weather will be nice and warm for you xx
Nice, I'm excited to try boiled wool
You should! It's quite lovely to sew with! xx

Yes I could use that jacket...it's 40 degrees F here in Illinois USA. We call that car coat length. Boiled wool is wonderful. Thank you!
Oh wow! Still so cold! Yes you would definitely like this at the moment!

I live on the Northside of Chicago!

The link to Potter and Co didn't work for me.

Thanks beautiful xx

Yes, I ended up making another version just this past winter and I downsized and made the sleeves a lot narrower. It ended up much better!
