It worked! Thank you so much! Tips for viewers: be sure to observe the angle of Dustin's blade for removing the back side of the phone. It's more horizontal and from the side. Meanwhile, when removing the old screen the blade angle is more vertical/steep. However, if the glass is shattered anyhow, I really recommend gently chipping/scraping away some glass from near the center and simply scraping outwards toward the frame and then gently prying the edge shards away from the surrounding frame. Trying to slice along the edging to pry the glass from outside in like Dustin just didn't work for me. Essential during all cutting in general that the phone is nearly too hot to touch. (Used a hair dryer). Be sure to put some double sided tape on the back of the new screen to help hold it on as it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the video. After gluing the phone all back together, use rubber bands to help the bonding. Recommend using a phone case that is more thickly raised above the phone's front glass on ALL sides as this is apparently a fragile model.

might want to try wd40 instead of heat or even with heat, (it is not a conductor) or any mineral oil will cut through the sticky stuff.

I ordered a new screen, its being shipped now, but i just noticed the description says its black, and i have the emrald color phone. does that really matter? they should be the same size, correct?? i might just have a black bezel around my screen, rather than emrald??? if anyone knows the answer to this, please let me know!! thanks you !!

Hello, I used your video to replace the screen in my stylus 5G and after putting it all back together the power button is not responding. The charge screen will come up while pressing the volume buttons while connected to charger but the power button does nothing. I am unable to turn the phone on because of this obviously. Do you have any idea what may be my issue or how to fix it?
I just had a similar issue with it, ensure the battery cable is secure. It likes to rest slightly above the connector (if phone is oriented face down on a table with the top of the phone away from you)

very similar to the xt2211 and there are no guides for that model. it is not a repair for the novice for sure.
