I'd say it depends on what kind of glue you're given to work with and the size of what you're usually I end up doing the square along the edge + the diagonal squiggle, sometimes box + X but if the paper scrap is small enough then just cover the back of it if you have a stick or do a drop with the glue bottle or if you're using rubber cement then you can just brush it all over the back, if you have modge podge well in my experience you just absolutely destroy the entire thing with modge podge with a little on the back to hold it down

When I glued something down (specifically square/rectangle), I'd go around the outside, then make a cross through the centre, all in one go - that way I'd get maximum glue coverage... surprised that wasn't an option

That can still get you an AC of 30 as a naked monk or barbarian and around the mid-30s (iirc) you push into the region where it just stops making a difference because nothing can hit you short of a crit anyway.

Mini Oz is the best thing in the entire country, continent, planet, solar system, galaxy, or universe.
I have a terrible imposter syndrome, which is especially apparent when I continuously have to ensure to myself that I did NOT deserve to be abused by my roommates for 2 years, despite my depression in that time causing me to become practically useless 90% of my time at home, feeding their anger and justifying their abuse in their eyes. I recognize that I absolutely did not deserve any of what happened to me, and yet my brain constantly tries to assure me I had it coming because I secluded myself in my bedroom and rarely ever came out except to eat, work, or play on my computer. I'm now living elsewhere and will probably never talk to one of the roommates again, (the other one gets the luxury of me still sometimes interacting with him because he's my brother, but he's on paper-thin ice and I only interact either with others present or to drive him to important things since he has no car or license,) but that all being said, I am recovering, albeit slowly as these things go.

When I glued something down (specifically square/rectangle), I'd go around the outside, then make a cross through the centre, all in one go - that way I'd get maximum glue coverage... surprised that wasn't an option

7:00 so, Boston Logan Airport (the one labeled at the top of the sign here) is one of the airports I use when I fly places. As of late April, 2023, the jungle juice containers seem to be gone, unless there are alternate security gates than the one I went through that still have one. Sorry Oz

@@etourdie Unfortunately ability scores cap at 30(+10) (for 5e at least, I can't speak to other editions). That can still get you an AC of 30 as a naked monk or barbarian and around the mid-30s (iirc) you push into the region where it just stops making a difference because nothing can hit you short of a crit anyway.

(I mean you could obviously use homebrew to get higher AC but that's the cheaty way of saying something is possible in D&D)

The books explicitly say that they have no maximum benefit from reading them infinitely, so getting 75 ac is still possible :D not to mention your saving throws, Dex checks, and initiative...
