Years ago (late '80s) a female friend of family won a GC sponsered radio contest. Prize, a black Ibanez 'super strat' (HSS) in black signed by Joe Satriani. She and her boy friend bring it by for me to check out. Signed on the back, fairly large script in metallic pink. Pretty sweet. Plug it in and the bridge pick up didn't work. A little tip for the good folks out there. Les paul reissue's get a darker burst to cover less than impressive areas or tops ..ie they apply lighter colors with more striking tops.
