I finally have that opportunity with Deadlock, a game that I really enjoy so obviously I'm taking it. I feel like Smite just has really poor advertising. There's so many people who don't even know it exists and the people who know it exists are surprised it's still around because they just don't hear about it.

Plus the whole limited access to Deadlock unless you get an invite makes it harder to watch without being able to play. @natehertel9612 Ngl but i just don't see deadlock lasting. Valves track record has been less than good with mp games for a long time now. Artifact, Dota underworld, artifacts relaunch, cs2 is popular and i love it still but the launch and last year has been bad. Would be surprised to see any substantial long term growth from Deadlock once the hype dies and it becomes just another moba on the market.
I'll gladly watch both channels. One thing that you might be able to do is post shorts on this channel that redirect to the second channel videos when they get posted. I know that is more effort as well, but can help with a little bit of getting the word out on where they are located!

@@MastYT I felt that way too in overwatch, but the Hero kits in rivals pulled me in. I play mostly deadlock and sometimes smite and have been wanting a game that's more "chill" compared to a moba, and rivals is a great fit.

Smite has been dead for a while. I think going DL is a fantastic idea for your channel. I have friends that have made deadlock channels and grown them to 5k subs since the games came out in beta. DL is gonna be huge. Good luck sir!
It'd be cool to see you try elden ring possibly and maybe eventually start doing random boss mods and random item mods. Theres always some goofy builds and playstyles and mods for you to do to keep you entertained while making it a unique experience. Not sure how you feel about souls games but elden ring was my first and i love it. Some of the modded runs can be quick to do. like 2-3 hours of gameplay to beat every boss. cut it down and trim it and its a nice hour long banger. Only issue is youd have to get into the game first and learn it

i absolutely despise OW but i love deadlock. I love deadlock more than i ever loved smite. But im also a 2022 new gen smite player with 950 hours so theres that. To each their own. Saying DL is like OW is a huge blow ngl lol In overwatch there are hard roles and you play into that role and there are hard counters and you win through team play. In deadlock it is team play but you can also build every character to your liking and kill ANYONE 1v1 through positioning awareness and macro plays. Cant really say the same for hero shooters.

probably not, the constant pvp Overwatch style game isn't my thing, kills/plays dont feel rewarding enough to me in them
