I have a question about some of the early 2025 enrollees practicing with the team. Are there any limitations, I would assume they are not eligible to play in the playoffs this year? Are they allowed to travel to Atlanta and or other playoff games?
Disagree, he won’t be defenseless running the ball and we do a great job of teaching our players to not strike with the crown of the helmet which is Targeting 9.1.3 Now if he’s in a route receiving and becomes defenseless, then hitting in the head/neck area is a possibility (Targeting 9.1.4) but we’ve also done a good job in this as well.
@@LJfootball14 Right but you can get a targeting call even if the player you hit is not considered "defenseless," as long as you initiate contact with the crown of your helmet above the shoulders of the opponent, regardless of their position or ability to defend themselves at that moment; essentially, the key factor is the action of leading with the helmet, not necessarily the defenseless state of the other player.
