They took Shaggy's uncle from ONE episode from ONE of the scooby shows from literally 50 years ago, and made him a variant, complete with voice lines and everything. I live for that kind of thing.

I’m just surprised at how huge Iron Giant is. I had a feeling they were gonna nerf his size to fit him into the game but I never expected him to still be larger than all the other fighters.
He's like the size of a player with a mushroom in Smash which is really cool! I hope Godzilla and Optimus Prime get into the game like this too

Seeing Iron Giants makes me believe that King Kong and Godzilla may actually have a chance to be in the game and keep what made them iconic, their size

Given how progression will carry over, this is likely more of a soft launch than anything else. Either way, I’m excited.
It's likely a beta in the same way that Fortnite was a beta for literally 2 years.
@@rb8bowls Yea that’s what MVS is planning to do too. If u read the description from Twitter it says the Open Beta will be updated regularly like a regular game with new maps, characters, skins, etc

Props to the studio for having the balls to do what nintendo didn't dare to do in smash; make a huge character be playable while retaining (well, not really but almost) his canon size
Yeah, Ridley being shrunk down to be as puny as he is in smash is awkward.

NES Ridley was the basis for Smash Ridley. He even has his color scheme from that game as an alt

This game is gonna be remembered forever for all the stuff it pulled a Giant character casually fighting something Smash or no other platform fighter could do and some of the leaked characters being 3 in 1 like Powerpuff girls and Animaniacs
Can't forget Ted Lasso, he is also leaked as being added to the game

I’m guessing Iron Giant will be purposely low tier or broken. If they can succeed in balancing a big character like that, they are truly classy developers.

@CrossoverBingo 64 A 4 player Iron Giant Battle would be hilarious, I don't even think Iron Giant will be able to fit on some of the stages to be honest lol. Also this is probably another reason why they didn't add ledge grab to the game, imagine Iron Giant ledge grabbing.

Iron Giant seems a lot lighter than I thought he would be
He does have a move that increases his ingame weight i think it's in the card

Ngl, even if I'm not invested in the fighting or anything, I might just play it just to collect skins and banners and stuff because the dedication to this game is genuine and I appreciate that. (And yes, I know you have to pay for the skins and stuff, but battlepass stuff must be farmed for so there)

do NOT watse your hard earned money on skins....Invest it in commodities. something that is going to gain value x5-x10 in the next 5-10 years

It said "1v1" and "free for all" but not "2v2" but they did show it.
9,5/10 Game, best competitive platform fighter by far imo, and I absolutely love the focus on 2's, so fun and well done.
I was diamond, played a lot of characters competitively. Couldn't go back even once to Brawlhalla (500 hours gameplay) once, after having played this game once. Such talented devs, so much skill and passion is poured into this game, I can't wait for it's return!!

I'm really needs multiversus on ps4 soon, and for more hopes, needs more rosters characters on the multiversus dlc such as batgirl (batman animated series 90s), daphne blake, gwen tennyson (ben 10 alien force series, /except alien shapeshifter), Supergirl, rook bloncho (except alien shapeshifter characters) ice bear (WBB) and many more
