Comparison makes no sense, these cameras are meant for 2 different types of photography. Hasselblad has gone all out and given popular photographers these cameras to push on to those who think because these photographers use them so should they is just not right. However very few of these popular photographers would likely buy it if it were their own money, but they are happy to agree to push the product if given the product at no cost to them. Maybe a better comparison is Z9 to Sony A1 or a7rv and X2D to the GFX100 II ?
As Pro 'sfor 35 years I (well we) can tell you straight there is no comparison - we have both - but it is nonetheless a very interesting one to make - and I get the comments below but its always good to see what others think about what separates them - good on you for doing it - subbed and liked, sent flowers, etc etc
To me this isn't the right comparison. I would compare the Z8 to the GFX-100sII or GFX-100II. The Fujis are cameras with much broader range of application thanks to their superior AF, more extensive set of lenses are much lower prices,... The X2D is a beautiful camera and I prefer its wonderful colors, but objectively speaking the only scenario in which is it superior is high speed flash sync with its leaf shutter lenses. And Hassy lenses are really way over priced. Btwn the Z8 and the GFX-100II (I own both), it does still depend on the application, to me the main reason to go Nikon is the EVF, the lenses that are overall superior to Fuji ones while the Fuji shines for landscape work.
Very nice comparison; enjoyed the feature run down, and stellar images. (The “ummm”s and “like” in the voiceover was…’ummm…’ unique 😊) Keeping an eye out for your next presentation!

Hasselblad X2D is the best.
😂😂😂joke
There is no comparison at all. Mid frame and full frame, 100 m-pixel while other 46 m-pixel, and different frame rate. Totally bs.
Just use your real voice. AI voiceovers with pronunciation Rosales videos lose credibility.
Amen ummm!
