    I randomly bumped in to this video when I was looking for a video for my tongue warm-up exercise before I interpret a meeting, but hey, as a complete amateur of film production, I learned a lot from your lecture! Thanks a lot.

    so i think my confusion can be clarified in saying that these are all just subsets of a general "cut" ? there can be a cut without any of these elements? like the shot is on a train platform, and the camera cuts to someone who is waiting for a train (and was standing out of frame)

    Is that your handwriting on that whiteboard? I don't know the right adjectives to describe it but "clean", "orderly" and "balanced" come to mind. You should do a video of you going to a handwriting expert and seeing what they have to say.

    Does transitioning to another scene is a cut away too?

    • @ChildishRambino
      @ChildishRambino  2 года назад

      I don't think that example counts as a cutaway. That would just be cutting to a new scene.
