I’m a power Reaper user for 15 years, built my career around it. Yet you are this close to convert me into Studio One since you’re bringing best features of every DAW out there without creating confusion. Great work!
Gregor is Also keeping me using S1 every time more and more... And Joe of course too, but I have watched more from Gregor IDW. Enjoy
Super helpful. TOUCH all the way from here out. Thanks Gregor!
Thanks for this fun video! Excited to practice this
First comment LETS GOOOO
I should get free gear or a free vst for being so supportive
Nope only when you have been the first comment 100 times and proved your unwavering loyalty.
Until then its just free tips and tricks lol 😁
*If you somehow get first comment 100 times and don't get free gear or VSTs then forget I ever said this lol
Will PreSonus ever make an internal LFO to map to various parameters on various presonus synths?
Yes yes yes, please Presonus!
PRESONUS color matching in Studio One really needs to be improved. The FOREGROUND vs BACKGROUND color in 30%+ cases sucks. White on light blue, dark gray on black ? Are you kidding me ? How about a CONTRAST ???
Why is this behaviour not available in the midi CC lanes ?
Please guide me to explain how to automate vocal sound with a musical background, so that when the vocal sound starts, the background sound is low, and when the vocal sound ends, the background sound becomes louder.
Shortcut Option+A just adds an empty automation track, no matter which plugin knob I click on before the shortcut. Can you tell me why is this happening?
Hi great video....is there a way to use glide in poly mode in Presence...or... program bend/glide into the sound patch? I would like for my roads patch to bend/glide up automatically Please help figure this out
That was useful. Thanks Gregor! ❤
the real flex here is that you can have a high latency plugin chain and the automation is still on point
I'm afraid this left me confused as to when to use track automation (as here) or part automation. I went and re-watched Gregor's ruclips.net/video/sjyFZDBMK7E/видео.html and that made me think that I would have chosen part automation here.
I love you studio one 😂 because it's my favourite Daw .
The way automation works in Studio One was one of the reasons I made the switch to it.
It just makes the work flow much better than anything else I have used
One can also draw automation too, right?
Thanks for the explanation. Even though I know about these modes, it's definitely helpful for many others. The one question I do have however, is once you assign the parameter to a control (let's say the touch strip like this example) once you're done, Is there a way to un-assign the touch strip from the parameter to be used for something else or is it always assigned to whatever parameter you assigned it to from the start? Does my question make sense?
It goes by instrument. If you switch to a different instrument, that touch strip will control something else on the new instrument, if that is what you mean. To untether that knob or touch strip form the same parameter on the first instrument, you could unclick the little triangle you used to tether the knob in the first place. So you could use just one knob to control any number of automations on the same instrument. It is the little triangle that "points" left, in the vid it is at 02:13.
@@Take-the-Ticket Yooo.. Thanks for that tit bit. That makes sense. I think that's what I'd need to do. Appreciate your reply. Thanks again.
Thanks, I didn't know the difference between these modes
Your instructions worked perfectly after I changed the ATOM SQ touch strip settings to allow filter cutoff control. Thank you!
Am I right that automation curves don't work in show page? I had my hopes for this ability when I was checking out Studio One a few months ago and decided to forego buying it because of this.
Thank you! I've been using read ever since I got Studio One, and avoided the others because I didn't quite understand them. You cleared it up! Touch all the way starting today.
Danke Gregor
Cool Stuff. Thanks!🙂
Damn I used Write and Read for all my volume automations all the time... Didn't have time to get to know "Touch and Latch" options... Ok so now it's easy with Touch mode. Can you please stop making me feel stupid all the time I'm using SO? ahahah (Joking) Really you do amazing job guys!
Hi, I just looked at your channel and I am curious why you quit making tutorials for studio one?
I watch a lot of these and your ideas are actually very unique to the normal tutorials.
I am going to watch the few you have now but just judging off of the one I started (On the hard drive crashing) it looks like they will be very useful and full of good information.
@@matthewthemartian oh man… I’ll get to it soon! I am very grateful to you for the feedback and I’m really happy someone found those helpful!
Yeah good tutorials and tips/tricks are hard to find in the first place ESPECIALLY for Studio One.
Not sure if maybe life got in the way (as it does) or if maybe you got discouraged from making videos for some reason ..but I assure you that from what I seen on your channel you have some great knowledge you could be sharing with the world.
Knowledge that could really help people out.
So ima go subscribe to your channel and hopefully I will see some more videos from you come out one day.
God Bless you and hope you have a great night.
