World Tourism Forum was held at the İstanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center from February 4 to February 6 with the participation of the leaders steering world tourism today.
Along with panels, 35 B2B meetings with the industry’s leading names were held at this significant event attended by 5,000 visitors.
Building on the World Tourism Forum brand decided to expand the reach of the tourism industry to wider audiences.
At Global Meeting 2016, the number of speakers grew from last year's 25 to 120, providing the means to get information and achieve networking in any tourism industry field.
World Tourism Forum Blogger Night was held on 4th of February 2016. With the cooperation of Blogger Casting and Gezimanya, about 120 blogger from all over the world joined the Blogger Night.
Followed by approximately 5,000 participants, the World Tourism Forum also hosted the World Tourism Awards. World Tourism Awards in 33 categories were bestowed by an international evaluation committee within an awards ceremony attended by around 1,000 C-Level executives. The ceremony was followed with a performance from the renowned singer, Mustafa Ceceli, who presented a special repertoire, offering guests very memorable moments.
