Hi guys local dealer here in stourbridge. 1st rule of car sales...you need some cars to sell! Stop being too picky with trying to find perfect cars, since covid the supply just isn't there anymore so you're going to struggle to build your stock up unless you broaden your search. We buy stock from all over the country...also don't be put off buying them needing a bit of paintwork/repairs/etc as these can have better margins.
PS ive got a similar cctv to you so when I lose something in the office I just watch it back until it moves off my desk 😀 good luck!

When you two got your dealership license, did that include a dealership license plate (tags) to put on vehicle for you to drive it to your car lot legally. Was just wondering about that. My old man was a garage repairs sales pitch in brum in 50s-70s. Have brilliant memories as a kid and remember the excitement and sometimes lows. He used to take me for drives in clients cars, jags, bristols, humbers all old convertibles. At 60k miles most cars needed engine rebuilds. Cilla black and petula Clarke, frank sinatra on piped radio. His partner embezzled him and ran off with all the money and made dad bankrupt as his eye was not on showroom ball and loans more the engineering. Could never get petrol station mortgage again. Still the partner was murdered in Spain on his yacht some years later turned out was a major drug dealer. What goes around. Dad taught me how to look after cars and motorbikes and never paid a garage bill in my life. Look after 3 daughters cars but challenge now is our cars are 10-17 yrs old and my home spannering not so useful on newer cars. New subscriber, good luck, reckon buying private be good for you as with me sold my car to berrow motors on here as we buy any car rogues. Only sold it as daughter emigrated.sure plenty of genuine private cars nip WBAC in the bud.

It can take a while and hard graft to get a good reputation in this business , buying the right stock is the difficult task your pitch is small so you are getting in quality cars , seems the right approach , very best of luck to you .

Hi Guys, Enjoying your content, I gave up on BCA and was using Manheim when I was trading as they just seemed to have better quality cars with better inspection checks so less chance of buying a dog. I think some have already said that your choice is much better with cars needing minor cosmetic repairs, I just considered this par for the course and never bought a car that didn’t need something done, they would normally have more margin in them anyway.

You need to get to work on buying cars and couple of small vans because they are a brilliant seller at any car shop please believe me small cheap van’s do sell very quickly,,
There’s always a man or woman that have dogs and people who go to the boot sales especially this time of year,
People also buy a van because of insurance reasons and they can make a living by having a van there’s loads of Reasons for people who are looking for them,,,,,

You need some stock there..
Approach a few of the bigger retailers in your area for a few part exchanges..
We do! Theres a few we have got to look at over the weekend, but will definitely reach out to some bigger retailers 👍
BCA??? Good luck dealing with this mob.... usually only get the following vehicles there
1 ex dealer trade ins, garbage that just won't sell on a dealers site
2 ex rentals - - - thrashed from day one
3 ex fleet - - - intergalactic miles on them
4 finance repos - - - if they don't pay for the car, do you think it's been maintained well
I wouldn't buy a cup of coffee from this lot, ALL the vehicles being sold by them have had the fuel drained, bulbs swapped, decent tyres swapped for balds, be doing really well if you find a jack or puncture kit in the cars too - - - - - honestly, and then there's their FEES............. go watch their auctions and you'll see the same cars going through weekly, staff have bought them and are trying to flip them for a profit
I know this can happen. That's why we arnt rushing into buying

how would you recommend setting up a BCA account, im 18 years old and been doing mechanics for 2 years and want to look at flipping cars but im not clued up on all the trade accounts and different cards etc. Any help is appreciated
Personally I would find a cheap car on ebay and re sell

I am a courier on a very part time basis.. and don't really earn anything sadly..

hey guys i been looking at range rovers and im fed up bought 3 from auction car supermarkets who bought them from auctions and faulty had to return them all- then bought an audi a4 - faulty bluetooth was like ffs, just figured as i have my own business may as well go auction myself just got approved for bca and i use vehiclescore - is it worth it how do you find the cars like as thinking to buy one for myself? whats your opinions thanks guys
