All we need is the Dual Channel ABS in the Apache and Bluetooth connectivity in the Pulsar.. Pulsar and Apache are love ❤
Well said.
@gatmnear That's also true, but it's just good to have if offered, nothing else as such 👍
@gatmnear not if you are touring on motorcycle. Even though it's not Google maps it works for most situation. The pulsar can't show any direction with it's rpm needle if I'm not wrong 😆😆
@@vithulsmangalathBro Bajaj can also make full digital meter console as in Domi series and Avenger series but that RPM needle is emotion ❤
@@user_Shadow_YTI agree with you the rpm needle is an emotion ❤ and the new Apache 160 2v don't get it else it gets a 160 4v cluster but it looks so ugly on the 2v
Dual-channel ABS is unheard of in this segment. This should be standard in all the motorcycles in this segment. Now that Bajaj has set a standard in this segment, I hope other manufactures follow its footsteps.
U don't need dual channel abs for 150 cc bike, an experienced rider uses front bake more often

I have had my Honda xblade for 4 years now .. no issues till date , mileage is always between 40-45 . Every 3-4 months i need to travel from bhopal to Indore journey of 250kms , engine is smooth , reliable and no vibrations are present till date . Maintainence cost is also reasonable
As N160 owner, I am loving it so far. after lot of research i went for it, never regret.
Great stability at high rpms,
super break handling,
decent mileage 50+ at highways, 45+ city.
Stunning looks❤

N160 was the savior for bajaj after the disastrous 250 series launch
In my opinion N series is just super dumb. It's performance is weaker than NS series. Then why someone go for it?
@@arifzain6844 Power is not Everything in a Motorcycle. Power is merely a 30% importance in a Motorcycle. Handling, Aerodynamics, Braking, Chassis Stability, Rigidity are Equally Important Aspects in a Motorcycle.
As a RTR 200 owner myself, I kinda do agree with the new gen pulsars bein good handlers & havin balanced chassis; I've only ridden the F250 until now.
New gen? Decade old 200NS is still the benchmark in its segment.

Absolutely loved this review. Its as an all round review that I have never seen anyone make till date except for that suspension testing which was done on literally an off road course with a guy hiding the container. His hand itself was acting as a suspension to counter the kickback from the bumps.
The light spread test was something I really loved cos good light especially in this era where one has proprietary LED lights, is highly essential to know. Like old times, One just can't change to brighter bulb and get away with it.
And yes its a shame to see that the Japanese bikes have devolved into such uninteresting bikes. I still ride the original FZ16 the one that started this trend and i love it.
Now if it's not yo much to ask, can you people make the same kinda comparison video with 250cc bikes.
This is how comparison (and comparison videos) should be done. ❤️❤️
You guys deserves much appreciation and many likes for this kindaa dedication efforts ur putting in.
Best comparison video ever seen in moto channel videos. Great work. Creative too
I ride a Gixxer 155 BS3, first edition. Still rocking with its 14.8 bhp and 135kg weight , giving me a mileage of 52km/l even after 8 years. You can trust Japanese machines.
Mine is also bs3 one with 63k done.. I'm getting 49 kmpl..engine is a gem, no two ways about it..
i own the bs6, it may have low power but the upside is i am able to fully control it. slapped on some stickier tyres, its still great fun to ride it
True , that engine is no match. Pure Gem
There is one Japanese machine that wasn't even considered... But I guess it's not a sporty commuter. It's the MT15.
Personally I think Yamaha stopped trying after the MT15. They're basically like "Remember how we made that one motorcycle? That shit SLAPS"
Isn't it almost all Indian engines are evolution of Japanese engines?. All big companies started their journey with Japanese manufacturers
Really great comparison
Liked the way you compared
Thumbs up 👍 zig wheels team
Keep going
This is the kind of information that we want and its straight to the point ....in would be happy if every other video has this same format
Great work with the video!! So thorough and detailed!! Well done
Loved it. Unique and creative. We want it for 200-250cc segment you can include Mt as well.
Happy to be an owner of Apache 160 4V RM BT❤ . For me it's best in every view but tvs need to improve some Service centre in small town areas.
By far the best comparison; badly needed and undoubtedly N160 is the Winner 🏆🏆🏆
the lean angle calculated is quite pointless in my opinion. there are too many variables - tyres, road conditions, suspension setup, overall rider confidence/skill, and how the bike itself feels to you. the last one is important because, lets say for example, you are more comfortable and your body is better suited to the gixxer than the pulsar, so obviously you will be able to push the gixxer more than the pulsar. using an app to determine the winner seems gimmicky
Video is sponsered by Bajaj😂
U answered yourself, if the suspension setup is soft rider will feel the liniting factor. The only variable is tyre grip, which differs according to the rubber quality, tyre profile etc. It is indeed useful to compare them on the same road as u will see the handling difference across bikes and also the good and ugly with the stock tyres, realistically not many change to a costlier tyre right out of the showroom
Even the water spilling test seems pointless... too many random variables to determine the ranks
Unless you do it 30-40 times with each bike to get a statistically significant result
@@skarrin6207thats my point, the app is useless. the app cannot determine the suspension setup or how the tyre grips or how confident the rider is. the cornering test is great, but using the app to make the final answer is gimmicky
@@apolloxlix679 If the same rider tries all biies and gets different bikes then I think the difference in lean angles is a direct measure of how confident the bike felt to that particular rider, if u change the rider the lean angles may shift but the relative standings will remain very similar.
There are rumours that Hero is going to bring Xtreme with a 4 valve engine and USD forks..Will have to wait for it..

Bring in reliability, and long term usage and Yamaha just wins it.. i still feel fzs should have used instead of fz x. Fz x is more of a cruiser and not more of a naked sports kinda bike like others.

Companies should provide some way to check tire air pressure in phone or on speedometer. It will help alot. Improve average, ride quality, long rides become more safe.
This was good and different testing parameters on a single video with the multiple bikes.
Apache could have FIRST in most of the tests, don’t know what happened. As you said that particular bike had some issues..It’s all depends the rider.
There are a few aspects in the comparison that are slightly biased! Clearly the use of 7000+ km driven apache will affect its score in cornering and comfort due to worn out tyres. And also it's technically apache the more efficient bike considering the fact that it has 4 valves in its piston head whereas the other bikes don't therefore it gives more low end torque and better mid range in city traffic so ultimately it's it's efficiency of 47 in city is as good as 51 or 52 of other competitors. Considering these odds Apache stands the clear winner!!!
Bro , Pulsar is not getting sales as per expectations so they sponsored Zigwheels😂 .
The braking test was clearly baised as rear tyre of pulsar was in air which is not ideal braking condition and lean angle on apache is better as compared to pulsar + The fuel efficiency of Apache is better as compared to pulsar .
You should include fzs 4.0 instead of fzx and also include hornet 2.0..plz compare this way again with these bikes

I wanted to get one but the hunter is so closely priced and looks oh so good

The best 160cc bikes comparison in RUclips. I'm a big Apache fan guy but new pulsar NS nailed it in both 160 & 200cc segment. Now @TVS must focus on performance like liquid cooling engine, 6th gear , acceleration & brakes over features. Youngsters wants performance no one care shit about features.
You could include an underpowered FZ but not an unicorn 160. Very well.🤣
Do this comparison for 300 to 400cc category bikes too please 🙏🏽
Now that's call a complete practical comparison, solidly done. Bravo to team zigwheels.. Keep that awsome work with all comparison. So so glad that someone try out of the box.
Thanks for the comprehensive review 🙏
That's a old model of Apache, if you go with the new Model, it will perform much better than others. The only point where apache lags is Dual Channel ABS... else, it's the best in segment.
Ah yes the gold standard in bike tests, the water jug test😂💀
Exclusion of Unicorn 160 is disappppointing, It is practically a better choice, great honda engine, good suspension, 187 mm gc, pricewise not very high too,
If the exclusion of unicorn is because of outdated looks, then xblade 160 would have been a good choice here
Apache definately deserved more. Worn out tyres unfortunately give issues in pick up, stop and lean where it lost out. Could have been issue. Thanks for calling it out
Wonderful comparison and logical tanking followed
I was happily living with my 2014 Bajaj Avenger 220 DTSi until I got laid off last year and started a freelance gig from home. I didn't ride much during this time and thought I'd sell my Avenger and buy a scooter which is a convenient option for getting groceries and because my wife could ride it as well, so I got a Hero Maestro Edge. But lately, I've been missing my Avenger and I just got a job in a school in a village 25 km away from my home, so I'm thinking of getting a second hand bike with good mileage under ₹30,000. Any suggestions you guys have?

you compare old Apache to brand new pulser ? and the water taste depends pillions hand stability more than bike
In my opinion, this assessment is a little sloppy, and the comparison of the equipment lists is absurd. They are using a TVS with worn tyres which impact handling and braking. According to the reviewer, they preferred the FZ-S to the FZ-X. FZ-X is more geared towards retro vibe so don't fit in this sporty commuter character that well. Dual channel ABS and a USB charger are both listed as having the same value under equipment.
