Britany, you did a great job on Voodoo and everyone! You saved him from a lot of pain and discomfort. I cleaned horses’ sheaths for over 50 years and it was just another body part that needed regular maintenance. Not fun, but no big deal. LHL is so blessed to have such good professional farriers! Really enjoyed the video and seeing the children and babies❣️
Those r definitely farm kids! Voodoo reminded me of my kidney stones bet he feels a lot better it good to have good people and who can give good recommendations when needed 😊
@Wendy johnson I agree. I'm prone to kidney stones averaging every other year or so... it's so painful and seems to last forever. Last time I had to have 4 different surgeries to get them out. They were too big to pass.

What a nice family, good farriers and now new found friends to LHL. I loved how the little girls were not afraid to ride the barrel or enjoy getting to know the ostriches. That is right up your alley Lester to interact with these kids just like you did so well when you were teaching your students. I bet Voodoo was relieved to be done with all that "cleaning" for a while. So glad Brittany did an effective follow up to get rid of those 2 beans. I'm so glad she was able to clean Voodoos sheath. That is a very important thing that has to be done to male horses. Females get them too. I remember my days of owning horses, I'd tie them all up and it was like an assembly line...lol I hope Kourtney is doing ok. Haven't seen her and her wife in a while now. Stay blessed Lester! A good farrier is as essential as good feed, hay and pasture. I am glad Courtney was able to direct you to these people. I have had the same farrier for just over 20 years and dread him retiring. He says he intends to keel over bent down with a file and a hoof in his hands. Those kids are so brave and comfortable with all those big animals. I'd bet you anything at least one ends up working with mum and dad.
I will admit that I do miss Courtney, Ashley & Teegan - but these 2 do do a good job 👍! I was surprised as to how well Beverly did, even allowing Jami to deworm her. Sometimes when 1 pet is partially blind, the other 1 becomes its helper. Voodoo and Buc-ee's are definitely brothers who like to pick on each other ( sometimes literally), but I've started to see Voodoo as Buc-ee's seeing eye horse & I love how well they have bonded ❤. After all was done, they all have pretty hooves ❤! And after that sheath cleaning Voodoo must be feeling like a new man ( or horse)! I was also pretty surprised at the size of those beans! Wonderful job Nick & Brittany 👍! Have a gr-8 night Lester 🌙!

Absolutely incredible how the big birds loved those kids- Georgia didn't have to hold her hand out, actually petted her, she stood still and patiently and watched her lay an egg and you gave it to her, then one just walked over to their car while the little boy was playing w his toy, and curious to look in the car w the door open, the liitle boy just calm and stood still till the big bird walked away- feerless- no crying for Momma or Daddy. All the Animals enjoyed their happiness and laughter. Thank you for making them a Blower Swing, Lester. Everything was Cuteness Overload.

I really like these farriers, they know donkeys have a different mental process than a horse, are calm, kind, yet firm when needed,(not letting Ivy pull her foot away), willing to work with Miss Beverly to teach her to give her feet, foot rope works wonders in the proper hands. Lester no offense but it might be worth paying them to do the sheath cleaning, when they are there for trimming. You try but she is right smaller hands can get there easier
the10 min cleanup means your looking in draws cabinets and under couches for things you misplaced, and then you go to your bedroom to look for them lol.

Your farriers are bringing those children up fantastically, our kids also you'd to prefer veg and fruit but alas as they mixed with other children they changed, especially while at university for 3 yrs, one eats junk food, McDonald's/KFC ect while the the other hates pizza's ect and was vegan for 2 yrs,( which taught me loads) but after being poorly and left craving eggs, told her by phone that it was her body telling her she needed the protein, since then she slowly added meats back into her diet. These parents are truly giving their children the best life ever. Xxx
I have friends from England and yes they say aliminium. Anyhow, what wonderful farriers you have- that was great that Courtney was able to recommend them. They will be busy with LHL and ISS. ❤
What you were taught. None of us where crazy about sweets. Give us pickle, tomato, apples, plums, cherries, blackberries, and cabbage all raw. Best part in summer we picked what we wanted to eat. Still not sweet eaters 65 years later.
Hey Lester Kandy here. When you were talking about those little girls liking fruits better than sweets I thought of my eldest daughter Caitlin. She's grown now but nothings changed. I learned early on when she never ate her eater candy to make her a fruit basket for Easter instead of candy and that's how she still prefers them to this day. I too would rather eat a bowl of fresh fruit. I'm glad they got vodoo straight. You did your best. But honestly I've seen much much worse than Vodoo had so don't be hard on yourself. Your voiceover for Bev had me 😂😂😂 because it fir the face and tongue movement when you said " mom what did you put in my mouth" 😂😂 love your voiceovers 😊 have a fabulous blessed week!

I really like these farriers, they know donkeys have a different mental process than a horse, are calm, kind, yet firm when needed,(not letting Ivy pull her foot away), willing to work with Miss Beverly to teach her to give her feet, foot rope works wonders in the proper hands. Lester no offense but it might be worth paying them to do the sheath cleaning, when they are there for trimming. You try but she is right smaller hands can get there easier

Your farriers are bringing those children up fantastically, our kids also you'd to prefer veg and fruit but alas as they mixed with other children they changed, especially while at university for 3 yrs, one eats junk food, McDonald's/KFC ect while the the other hates pizza's ect and was vegan for 2 yrs,( which taught me loads) but after being poorly and left craving eggs, told her by phone that it was her body telling her she needed the protein, since then she slowly added meats back into her diet.
These parents are truly giving their children the best life ever. Xxx

What you were taught. None of us where crazy about sweets. Give us pickle, tomato, apples, plums, cherries, blackberries, and cabbage all raw. Best part in summer we picked what we wanted to eat. Still not sweet eaters 65 years later.
I got to eat pecans, dates, pomegranate, tangelos, apples, apricots, grapes and home grown vegetables and I grew up in Phoenix, AZ.

When my daughters were little, they didn't like sweet/ sugary candies/ treats/snacks either. The horses & ponys did great 👍🏾
Hey Lester Kandy here. When you were talking about those little girls liking fruits better than sweets I thought of my eldest daughter Caitlin. She's grown now but nothings changed. I learned early on when she never ate her eater candy to make her a fruit basket for Easter instead of candy and that's how she still prefers them to this day. I too would rather eat a bowl of fresh fruit. I'm glad they got vodoo straight. You did your best. But honestly I've seen much much worse than Vodoo had so don't be hard on yourself. Your voiceover for Bev had me 😂😂😂 because it fir the face and tongue movement when you said " mom what did you put in my mouth" 😂😂 love your voiceovers 😊 have a fabulous blessed week!
