Sight Casting Blue Groper

Sight casting lures for blue groper off the rocks in south Australia. I fished a couple new ledges this session aiming for a blue groper on a lure. I had to fish hard but ended with a nice groper around 12kg and to see this fish eat my lure was a huge rush!

Im not sure if I should get a penn spinfisher V 10500 or the spinfisher VI 10500 for my 8 foot 2 spinning shark rod

Get the 6 "VI" newer, easier to get parts, better sealed.

@@fishingsa3196 no worries mate, I have used the spinfisher VI 8500 Live Liner for 2 years catching eagle and smooth rays. It works amazing. Heaps of drag and fits alot of 80lb braid 👍
