Yowza! Looks spectacular! Like a real mini size Mojave. 20.5 mph from a brushed set up is pretty good. Seems to handle very well and Looks very durable indeed. A very good and to the point review on this. Very well done review. That’s why I love this channel of yours. I got the red version recently. Good looking and a quality build. Not very fast though. And eventually I will have to buy a real charger. I will say I am very happy with the buy.
Just found your channel for the first time! So far, your content is exactly what I love to watch! Straight to the point, all the main talking points, and some fun footage at the end. And even the little stuff like the kph to mph conversion (I was on my way to Google when I saw kph) is the kind of detail I love! Keep it up!
I can't wait to get my hands on mine! It's gonna live in perfect harmony with my Mojave 4S and Mojave 6S. Looks like it lives up to the Mojave name!

Hi the TT02 has a 257mm WB this Mojave Grom WB is only 196mm. Hope that gives you a relative size comparison.

Does the inner body shroud help keep dirt out of the electronics?
It actually helped keep some out but obviously not all . There was some dirt in there but not as much as my other RCs which I also run there . Cheers for watching

how big is this compared to the 12th scale wltoys 124008 you reviewed?
In terms of total body size including the wing of the 124008 they’re roughly the same size. Not much in it tbh. Bare in mind the WL toys is a buggy which are usually smaller than shortcourse of same scales

How do you clean it after running it on dirt?
Spray can of water a fine bristle brush, dry with towel and finish off with the wife’s hairdryer in hard to reach spots !

Can you change the tires ??
Tires come pre-glued onto the wheels. If you could get them off and find something else to fit on the wheels I can’t see why not. Probably easier to find a similar sized wheel and tire you prefer though .

No. Is a brushed system rated at 2s only unless you want to see 🔥
I don’t trust the spectrum batteries. I’ve had two 6s esc’s and one 8s esc burn out on me from using those.
I don’t have too many. The Spektrum battery from the Mini LMT did stop working though after 3 charges….😖

£145 here in the UK.
That's around £45 more than a 3S brushless MJX which has also proven its durability & performance.
We also have official MJX suppliers in the UK so parts aren't an issue.
Also, Grom upgrades are waaaay over priced.!
The red/black Mojave does look very good though.!

MJX 16th scale have monkey metal diffs and spurs. Mine lasted less than a month on 3 different vehicles. The plastic spur on my Granite has been going for over 6 weeks with no sign of wear.
Arrma has excellent warranty service as well. I had a problem with my Felony receiver and after two emails they shipped me a new one, next day air.
I had some screws fell out of my MJX 14th scale, including steering link screws, they said they'd send me some, I'm still waiting a month later.

The being brushed is a pretty big downer. Who is actually releasing rigs anymore with brushed motors? They're terrible and they burn up all the time. Worse yet is that it's a 2 in 1 system. If it's a 2 in 1 system with brushless, I'd live with it. But as it is now, if you ever want to go brushless because you're tired of replacing burned up brushed motors or if you want more speed and want to go to brushless, now you have to replace everything. Motor, ESC, Receiver & Transmitter. That a just sucks.
Here's what you do if you have another rig around this size you don't care about. ex: I have a 1/16 Losi buggy I'd gladly swap for this. So you buy this, swap all electronics from your existing rig with the brushless setup, put the brushed setup in your older rig and pray someone will buy it. SMH.
