Done it. 4 of us took a toboggan off the little practice jump near my college in NH....much alcohol involved unfortunately and some broken bones as a result.
Jason, that was just an awesome video of those ski jumpers. And it’s in your backyard and great to see a world competition, really great. Thank you Jason, Mike
14:52: What an amazing jump... near or over the hillsize... 28:05: Beautiful telemark landing. 29:46: What a suberb landing. 33:55: What an amazing angle and what an amazing jump of Richard Freitag. He won a lot of Worldcup events, but he is in a loss of form or was in loss of form. 36:49: What a jump, what an interesting angle. 37:23: He is high but save in the air (in german called "Luftstand"). On the ski flying hill in Harrachov, the Luftstand was 12 - 15 meters in the eighties. After some heavy crashes, they closed this jump for a while. 40:25: What a beautiful and long jump of the famous polish Ski Jumper 45:39: So beautiful... So many amazing jumps in the end. Enjoyed them so much. 50:33: Michael Hayböck is a very famous austrian ski Jumper. He won a lot of Worldcup competions. He did a great job here. I really appreciate the enthusiasm of the audience and the speaker as well. You can be proud of this beautiful and distinctive Ski Jump. Thanks so much for sharing. Greetings from Germany.
Nice change of pace. I used catch events like these when I lived I New England. I still have some gate flags from the Subaru World Cup at Waterville Valley.
Great job Jason. All these jumpers were Amazing. You were wearing me out just watching travel up and down all of them steps. Just curious, did any of our Michigan State officials come and meet and greet the teams.
Thanks Jason. The Ski Jump and Down Hill are my favorite winter sports. With me boycotting and not watching any of the Winter Olympics from communist China, this will be my fix for winter sports. Unless there is something from the US or European competitions on antenna TV.
Oh good you got a ski competition from a year ago That's 54 minutes long I'll check that one out too later thank you.

Thanks for watching!
Was that you out there skiing??
Just curious as to why we can’t hear the speed and length of the jumps and when a new hill record is set, like yesterday’s video.
Lack of a speaker, we'll def be discussing that at our next meeting.
With the skis pointed toe out the jumpers have to make sure they're pointed straight when they touch down or it's going to hurt
👍
Wth does he keep saying "Springer Come" for?
Springer is a jumper, Come means just that..
Wow !! Things must have changed. I thought you had to keep your skis together to go farther. I love that place. I use to live in Foster City
That change happen quite a while ago. I think what it does is make the "wing" a little wider.
Think of skis like wings catching lift..
