    We live in Starkville, MS. It's been hot here too. Yesterday it was 102 degrees but we've gotten a good rain shower the past three days in the late afternoon. Your peas and okra should love the heat as long as they get a little water to go with it!! We have some Buff Orpingtons. They are more of a cream color than yours are. They are very docile but older than yours are. Thanks!! -Lea

    Just as hot and dry here in "Upper Low-country" South Carolina. Serious heat advisory warnings now for the third day in a row. I can't stand to be outside. Your garden looks good. Get that work done early!

    I have Buff Orphingtons looks like you have a few roosters in there. That may be the problem with them trying to attack. I’ve never had a real problem with them going in their coop.
