We live in Starkville, MS. It's been hot here too. Yesterday it was 102 degrees but we've gotten a good rain shower the past three days in the late afternoon. Your peas and okra should love the heat as long as they get a little water to go with it!! We have some Buff Orpingtons. They are more of a cream color than yours are. I have Buff Orphingtons looks like you have a few roosters in there. That may be the problem with them trying to attack. I’ve never had a real problem with them going in their coop.
