The Honors aired on CBS Network for the 41st consecutive year as a two-hour primetime special on Wednesday, December 26 at 8 p.m. ET.
Artists honored in 2018 include singer and actress Cher, composer and pianist Philip Glass, Country music entertainer Reba McEntire, and jazz saxophonist and composer Wayne Shorter.
The co-creators of Hamilton-writer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, director Thomas Kail, choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, and music director Alex Lacamoire-received a unique Kennedy Center Honors as trailblazing creators of a transformative work that defies category.
In a star-studded celebration on the Kennedy Center Opera House stage, the 2018 Honorees were saluted by today's leading performers from New York, Hollywood, and the arts capitals of the world through performances and tributes.

Barbara Jean, even if you stoled Brock from Reba. LOL still loved you . You brought me so much laughter. When I cried all day. The whole cast touched my heart. I wish the Reba show never came to an end. But rest assure , I watch all the reruns every morning at 3am. Lots of love from someone who lives in

The episode where they go to the bar to celebrate ex surprise party and find out he died is on of my favorites because I love her rendition of CAROL KINGS So Far Away!!!..I hum it everyday 🥰
My grandmother and i would watch reba everyday i was with her. I got my singing voice & my love of reba and carol king from her. Now that she's passed I belt that song for my grammie ❤

She made an impact on me she has a good personality is a good woman and she's my friendship friend I love her as a friend and I always will be and there she ever needs a shoulder to cry on she's got mine she wants to talk to me she's got it that's how Raven is a good personality and she's got class❤❤❤❤

Reba changed my life in so many ways. Some day I would love to meet her. I remember I used to listen to her thru basic training while I was in the Army
Melissa is a good actress. I would love to see her in a sitcom of her own.
She had a show on CMT for one season of 10 episodes back in 2012 I think, Working Class, it starred Ed Asner as well.
I love Melissa's voice. Its beautiful.

My sister was always a big Reba fan! All the way back to the 80s & Reba's big hair days! She was such a fan that I became a big fan of Ms. Reba's!
This year Reba is coming within n hours drive from us! The Giant Center in Hershey, PA! I really wanted to surprise my sis.
But, you see I became her Primary Caretaker when she tested positive for Covid in 2020... It attacked her lungs, heart, & worst of all her kidneys.
I couldn't wait to surprise her w a ticket to see Reba!
Unfortunately, God called her home on January 1, 2023.
It's been, 90+ days when she took her last breath.. But I guess my sis will have the best seat in the house now! Amen...
