Nothing is certain in China. There have been several instances where locos have been given a full overhaul and the line has closed within a few weeks.

Yes. It's the same loco. The maintenance was only a few drops of oil here or there! All the SYs were on full service. I have video of a newly outshopped SY at Fuxin too but I'm not sure the clip is good enough to publish.
