Real nice collection here, thanks for sharing! That last sunset silhouette is a real prize winner! But if I had to vote for a favorite, it would be the WM 2-8-0 on Helmstetter's curve.
That is so cool that the Conway Scenic Railroad has restored a State of Maine boxcar That's one of my favorite box cars because it looks colorful with the red white and blue paint
@@DynamoProductions-trains yeah. I live in San Jose, California, there is the Niles Canyon Railway that in near here. I may video freight being pulled by steam locomotives, I know that they are going to restore Southern Pacific 1744 and Sierra Railway 30 back to operation. I would also hope sometime in the future for a cab ride on a steam locomotive too. I would need to plan when to do that.
What a great look back to one of the loudest locomotives in operating service Western Maryland 734 the The ably named Mountain Thunder Now that the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is completed the restoration on 2-6-6-2 Mallet 1309 hopefully this year of the next they might start work on rebuilding 734 to renew her boiler certification which is been expired since 2016 when they took her out of service
The Delaware Lackawanna&Western went by the town of North Brookfield N.Y. with Steam Engines up to early 60s. These engines had real character to them with the smoke steam and steam whistles unlike todays locomotives. Hauled a lot of coal back then.. It would take several trucks to replace what they haul in one trip.. A lot of people don't realize how economical they are.... Every one seems to be in too big a hurry today.. Trains are a great restful way to travel also.. It's too bad that the line to Binghamton to Utica only goes to Sangerfield now.. I heard they are trying to get washouts repaired and use again.. A lot of money was put in line restoring it and now it just lays there.
Another excellent video! Did you get that girl on the tractor to take part? I've seen her show up with her classic tractor in other photo shoots, so I was just curious.
A lot of times these running steam engines do not have their original whistles. Just how things are...not enough original parts to go around so they make due with what they can get their hands on.

When it comes to photo freights I always think it's a great way to show the presence of a bygone era when it comes to steam and freight.
I was literally blown away at the ones that were actually pulling honest to goodness freight and not just period Cars!
Still cool they are able to safely run old rolling stock, most of it just sits at museums.
A wonderful video, big thumbs up, and happy new year :)
Thank you, glad you enjoyed
Fantastic video!! Great job to all involved with this video.

Great video for the end of 2021, can't wait to see what you got planned for 2022!

It really feels like traveling back in time. So cool.

CSRR has a wide variety of boxcars and freight equipment. It's too bad they only do it once a year.
hey i went on the cass scenic railroad!
I would like to video steam locomotives pulling freight trains.
I think this video should have your fill
@@DynamoProductions-trains what do you mean?
This video has plenty of steam locomotives pulling freight trains for you to see

Hope you enjoyed your cameo

I like the mix of truss-rod box cars with steel framed ones in 611’s consist. I do the same thing in HO scale. Are they riding on archbar trucks?
Arcade and Attica...wow...

I like clover valley no.4

Happy New Year✋💪🖐
What whistles do each of the locomotives have?
Loud ones
@@DynamoProductions-trains I mean which type of whistles (e.g. NYC 5 chime, B&M 6 chime, D&RGW 3 chime, etc.)
@@austie24 here’s a list.
1. Loud ones.
@@austie24 #7470 is a CN 6 Chime and #90 is a Reading 6 Chime. That's all I know.
