Trailmakers Idea: Evolution Bombers, New Game type theory(Arms Race Maybe?): you have a base build that is probably mid evolution, then you can put weapons on it but only 2 power cores at a time, Bomber Escort: Escort a bomber to say, the carrier from the snowy island and the bomber cannot repair and the escorting plane cannot repair but the attackers can.
more wheels = slower learned that the hard way when I made a platform with 16 wheels (adjusted steering) in campaign mode I think the engine power gets divided but the traction isn't adjusted to it properly
wheels produce a ton of frag due to how thick they are it is best to place wheels in a way the other wheels cancel out the drag if you want alot of wheels
Hey KAN: I have an idea for multiplayer monday: A shrinking race or shrink-down race. Everyone starts with a 32X32 vehicle. At the first checkpoint you have to cut down your vehicle to a 16X16 vehicle. At the next checkpoint you cut it to an 8X8 vehicle. And maybe even a 4X4 at the end. You can chose during your build if you want to connect things with cardboard, so you can fire a (mounted)spudgun to disconnect the rest of the car. Or you can just delete some blocks. You would be allowed to use your connection tool and change settings. (you could even start with 64X64 for the extra big start)
It's almost like the physics engine was trying to calculate Magnus force on the third wheel. Although I believe the wheel would need to spin the opposite direction for lift to occur.
I've seen this mentioned before. but the timer to start building also starts the race, so you could put something together in 5 seconds or spend a little longer to make something faster/more controllable.
So just do the same thing but remove the requirement that you have to use all parts. That'll keep the complexity limit down, and allow for more flexibility in the build. Perhaps a random dice roll during the build phase can allow for new parts to be introduced outside of the two cars being merged, kind of like a mutation, so to speak. For instance, a roll of 1 means you get an extra engine, a roll of 2 means you get a booster, a roll of 3 means you get X more blocks to work with, etc.
ngl... would love to see a plane and boat version of this. EDIT: You could also simply do time trials instead of having everything spawned in at the same time.
First vehicle problem: point of mass close to the front wheel. When you reach 120mph and reduces to 100mph it creates enough force to turn your car upside down. Like those cars that uses front break and an arc to do front flips
This would be better if you got to choose which of the three to fuses. That way if you lose you could take the win two or maybe if you're confident you could choose a different on. That way it doesn't matter who comes in first and last for the fusion
Makes no difference after the first race since after that they all have the same parts always. If you dont allow to delete everybody will always have the same arts after the first race
Seems like You all get the same parts no matter what starting in race 2. I would say to fix this give everyone the ability to delete 10 blocks each time. Adding a wheel limit of 8 would also help.
You could do a block limited for the first race and then for every race after have a block limit that's less than the total of the combined vehicles. Then you can choose some parts to delete from the build. Like say the block limit could be 1.5 times the previous race.
You are flipping over because you keep putting opposite facing up/down wedges on the front in your designs, you want downforce not up-force (plus you ideally want to have similar downforce on the back, or extra weight).
Angled vehicles with low friction (wheels, skis, etc) seem to bug out the physics and slowly gain velocity. If you build a vehicle around this bug specifically, it's possible to get several hundred kmh with a long enough runway. I think this bug is what was causing kAN's vehicles to inch forward like that.
Why the initial vehicle flips over: once the front gets lifted on a bump on decent speed, the three wheels in the back make you "wheely" and the air dynamics make the whole vehicle spin around the axis of the back wheels. It is not the game, it's simple physics.
Please revisit this challenge, maybe with boats instead But dont just take the winner and the loser, because after the first race you are just doubling the vehicle you already have, since everyone has the same parts on that point. How about you either have to add your own first vehicle again to add the parts, or the winner gives his first creation to the second place, the second to the third place and the third place to the first, this way we still see different vehicles
Happy birthday, KAN! I might have missed it a bit, but I will congratulate anyway! I wish strong health, never-ending happiness and luck for you and all those people who are close to your heart. And I want to thank you to introducing Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday series to me. Even if I prefer to watch Scrapman now, your Coop Survival series are prescious, and you are still the one, who showed me such an interesting content. Thank you!
Here's a similar competition idea of what you just did, that I think would work well: Cars are divided into 2 sides (front and back) by the seat. After each round you get the front part of the first place vehicle and the back part of the third place vehicle, while the car in second place becomes the parts you're allowed to add. You're allowed to move the parts in the front and back withing the section, but not remove any. With these rules' you wouldn't have to add more and more unneccesary parts, but it would still grow; and though you keep getting the same parts, they may change and be different between players depending on which parts are taken from the second vehicle and if parts were placed in the front or back of the first and third place vehicles. Potential rule variations: 1. To avoid just having a seat as the middle: 1.1 You could allow blocks be placed on the sides of the seat but make sure it's only up to the halfway point for front/back. 1.2 You may perhaps allow adding slabs to make middle with the seat thicker to fit together, but they would not counted or kept. 1.3 You can instead decide that the seat always is in the front or the back and having some other way to know the line (like keeping colors while building) and not allow parts to cross the line. 2. You might want to add a power core limit so the amount of motors doesn't double each evolution. 3. You could allow each person to add let's say 2 new blocks each evolution to add blocks to the pool. 4. It could be cool to do a combination of rules 2 and 3, but I'm afraid it could be a bit complicated... The powercore limit total increase by 1-3 each evolution, but you're allowed to change powercore blocks to 1 new block (not in the second place vehicle) per powercore (including to chose power core using blocks). 5. You could change it so each person would get half the car of the person in front (first place would get third places half), and it would switch between front and back every other round. This would however probably be better to have it so you can freely add to this new build (not take parts from a third car) so it's really more of another idea than a variation on this one.
I love the "evolution" type videos without a short time limit but this one needed some way to change the blocks each iteration. After the first round you were using the same blocks no matter who won.
I just realized that after the first race. They are all using the same parts so their place doesn’t matter. They could have used their original cars and added the winners or losers parts to make the cars always slightly better or worse.
After the first race/combination, it didn't matter who won (in terms of the vehicles/blocks) because everybody had the exact same block set. I didn't understand why they were bothering with points but I guess this was why?
You should be able to change some parts, because you just mixing the same parts over and over again. It doesn't even matter if your build gets involved or not, because it consist from the same parts
How about a battle transition battle from car, to plane, to tank no indestructible seats. A battle royal where as long as you aren't destroyed you can transition between the 3 and continue fighting. Would be a long battle but you can escape and come back if you not knocked out of your seat. Say 15 minute limit on each stage, No limit on how or what you build as long as it doesn't glitch out the game. All goes down to who has the better builds. Rules are, 1 person traditions to from a car to a plane, everyone has to tradition to a plane ect. That way everyone is on an even playing field and its down to build, timing and skill.
kan your 5th wheel causes a bug that i found out that bug in survival when i put a 5th wheel in the middle of my car it was like low gravity with but it sometime goes up and sometimes it goes away
2:30 - 3rd Place : Has to combine 2nd and 3rd place vehicles 2nd Place : Has to combine 1st and 2nd place vehicles 1st Place : Has to combine 1st and 3rd place vehicles
Soooo, are Kan videos like just extra Scrapman videos relabeled? the first minute is nothing but Scrap talking, and he doesn't even introduce the people he's playing with...seems weird
I saw the Vid 17 seconds after U posted it and my computer prevented me from being the first viewer by not loading youtube fast enough, love the vids btw - 193 like
if you have 4 wheels being powered by one engine is fine but if you have 8 wheels being powered by one engine is slower is like having more DRAG on a car but is you make it more aerodynamic is faster ie less wheels = more speed -but loss of grip but the balance is (for me at lest) 4 engine with 4 or 6 wheels
so uh, after the first round you all had exactly the same parts for the rest of the game lol. Placement didn't really matter, no matter who won the parts would be the same
Oh no... oh no oh no oh no.
*Edit:* Of course kAN made a brick with a wedge on the front.
Bricks will dominate the world in a few years 😂😂👌
kAN: puts giant lift generating wedge in front of vehicle
Also kAN: "why is my car lifting up???!?"
Except the wedge is upside down. It should lift the front up not push the front down.
wedges generating no significant lift i had some tests with them.
also it was the back that started lifting up, not the front
wedges dont apply lift....
Ooo
14:20 kan explains what the civic now looks like

Was really vibing to the time-lapse, then the music started
Same
1:15 what is the song?

Race, but without convensional propulsion things, like engines and wheels
Yes
Cool, nice thinking, that's a great idea 😁

It would have to be a long race to make building something for a long amount of time worth it
Lol I just started watching scrap man and saw the notification

The reason it started flying was your car was shaped like a wing. You also did not include a spoiler which is what keeps irl race cars from flying up.
You could do a block limited for the first race and then for every race after have a block limit that's less than the total of the combined vehicles. Then you can choose some parts to delete from the build. Like say the block limit could be 1.5 times the previous race.
I like this idea, cause in this video, it is basically just exponential growth of the vehicle cause everyone has the same blocks
You are flipping over because you keep putting opposite facing up/down wedges on the front in your designs, you want downforce not up-force (plus you ideally want to have similar downforce on the back, or extra weight).
Best multiplayer video yet.

RUclipsrs when they have only 100 fps: "serious framerate issues" "omg the lag"
Meanwhile me playing the same game with 7 fps: This is fine
So my question is. How about some of these challenges in Space Engineers?
This could be a hilarious and entertaining concept for king of the hill or a water based fusion evolution.

Love the vids amazing content u make me happy
This was really cool, but need a touch of refinement - maybe can change what powercores used, only use front half from one and back half of the other
Happy Birthday kAN🥳🥳. Your vids are great man, I love them.

You guys should do a demolition derby (maybe you can bring camodo back)

Yeah after the first race there isn't a point of trying to sabotage with last place because they all have the same part base.
This looks like it would be a pretty neat idea to try in scrap mechanic.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUDE!!!
Welp, time to go do stupid stuff in trailmakers now:)
Second round kan was squatted 🤣
Happy birthday kAN... Got this from Kosmo that it is ur birthday.
Happy birthday Kan, and I wish you many more

happy birthday Kan from kosmo
Happy bday dude! Thanks for all of the great entertainment and dare I say, inspiration, this past year 🥳
Happy birthday!
love your stuff
kAN: year 3000 this is the standard for new pimped out cars!
japan: Bosozoku Cars!
2:30 -
3rd Place : Has to combine 2nd and 3rd place vehicles
2nd Place : Has to combine 1st and 2nd place vehicles
1st Place : Has to combine 1st and 3rd place vehicles
didn't actually matter which car came 1st or 3rd after the first one. All 3 cars in each round have the exact same pieces
Happy Birthday 🎉
Soooo, are Kan videos like just extra Scrapman videos relabeled? the first minute is nothing but Scrap talking, and he doesn't even introduce the people he's playing with...seems weird
I love your vids but my uncles Mcdonald free wifi isn't helping
I saw the Vid 17 seconds after U posted it and my computer prevented me from being the first viewer by not loading youtube fast enough, love the vids btw - 193 like
Months of suggesting those but Alternative propulsion submarine evolutions in trailmakers with helicopter engines and blades of random types.
If you all cussed at each other at 4 minutes you would be like neebs gaming
if you have 4 wheels being powered by one engine is fine
but if you have 8 wheels being powered by one engine is slower
is like having more DRAG on a car but is you make it more aerodynamic is faster ie less wheels = more speed -but loss of grip
but the balance is (for me at lest) 4 engine with 4 or 6 wheels
Initial D was the best game to play at the arcade back in the early 2000s
It literally doesn't matter who's car is used for fusion though. They all have the exact same pieces after the first race...
That wedge it is pointed down so the air lifts the front up your welcome
After the first race than each subsequent race is meaningless since the first second and third car will have the same number and type of blocks.
Scapman complaining that he has to edit out all the rules discussion.
Kan: You fool! This IS the content!
so uh, after the first round you all had exactly the same parts for the rest of the game lol. Placement didn't really matter, no matter who won the parts would be the same
How many did skip through the rule part at the beginning of the first race? XD
Hello!!!!
You guys should do 4 player fusion evolution on every race track.
This is the earliest I’ve ever been to a RUclips video- 18 seconds ago
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Segmented snake fusion evolution! No wheels, just wriggling segments.
Everytime kan flipped he hit a bump in the terrain and the it bounced.
Btw i dont play thats just what i saw
After the first race it doesn't matter who comes in what place part wise, cause they all have the same parts... No?
Also you should use the winners vehicle and your own vehicle so all pieces chosen in the first round remain in game
Happy birthday ive been around since you made the airship on stream and the all wooden plane of the air ship that had a detaching plane
Happy birthday kan
You should do a semi truck evolving change it must work like a semi and hall a crate
It was because your com was at the front of you're BASE of support
build a vehicle where all three of you control one vehicle but different parts
When SLO see this video he will say :"fusion friday !!!"
You should do another lucky crate challenge in scrap mechanic
Who wins or looses in the second race has no effect on the parts used in the next evolution
Maybe next time use half of the blocks from one and half from the other
Try a plane version please it will be hard but it will be fun to watch😁
Your second front tires don't need to turn as much.
Maybe it is becouse jou had more upforce then downforce on the front
kosmos build on the second round look like a gaming mouse from 6 years ago
can you make so you get the losers vehicle and onely haf ov the parts
Kan sounds like that RUclipsr spycakes
Happy birthday kan
When you click on a video and the amount of likes is 666😳😏
I was so close at just closing this video on the rule make up part
Happy birthday!! Keep up the amazing content
Ur back kept flying up. You need a spoiler.
kan scrapman, kosmo should do a evolition race in survival
Back Wheel Steering Vehicle Evolution Race
Boat Glider and Helicopter variations of this please
If Kan put some wings on his vehicle it would have flew
Are gonna make It Takes 2 Ep tomorrow?
Beyblade fusions might be fun
