I own a 2017 F150 XLT 4x4 extra cab 2.7L. I absolutely love this truck. I'm also a fulltime RVer, living fulltime on the road in our RV. Its a Coachmen Concord 300ds on a Ford chassis with the V10 Triton engine. We flat tow our F150 behind the rv. Question!!! Can the new Ford Lightning be flat towed behind an rv??

No one seems to address the elephant in the room. What kind of range can a Lightning owner expect when towing 10,000lbs.
You know, I feel this may not work out. There are not enough charging stations to drive cross country or in rural areas. I have been driving F-150s my whole life, even learning to drive on a 78'. I have owned one the majority of my life. Electric vehicles only seem to cover the city dwelling and suburb commute needs. These were never pickup trucks. If I can't get 400 plus miles range and refill in minutes then I don't see this being the new innovation. But it is pretty and futuristic looking.
When is it arriving to Mexico?

I have been blessed to own a 2007 xl new and now are driving a 2013 xl that I purchased new. It has just under 100,000 miles on it and still going strong! I would love to buy a new F-150 lightning pro, single cab short bed please. However I need them to be more affordable and available to an average guy like me. Because even at $30,000, I have to really stretch to afford that. Took me 7 years to pay my 2013. I understand you are up against a really tough market. But please make a truck affordable and for us. Maverick is nice, but I don't want or need a Focus with a bed. That vehicle looks like a truck, but in my book is not. Nice job on that btw. It would make a nice commuter vehicle and I would consider it if it was a full electric only or had a naturally aspirated petrol with a six speed. Don't like the auto start stop, won't buy one with that. Thank you for the opportunity to express my view point. Godspeed

I want an electric truck that can save me time and money. I tow. I haul. I work. Start showing how this truck works, as a daily driver from home to the jobsites, 100s of miles of commuting a day, hauling 1000lbs, towing 5000lbs. Show just how truly productive and efficient you can be with time and money with the Lightning. So far, this truck seems like a grocery getter. How can I maximize business profits during the week (time is money) or fun on the weekends (time making memories, not just loafting at pit stops) if I have to find reliable working vacant charging stations to get me on my way? Stop showing all the gimmicks and start selling me on the important factors working class truck owners need and rely on
