Hi, thanks for sharing this video. We run a small pub in the UK and for the last three years we have held a Gin Festival in July. Last year we used edible flowers within the drinks we served but they were not frozen. However, my husband we should try freezing them to get ahead. I really like that you have the larger cube trays as these would awesome in the bi bowl type gin glasses. Thanks again for your ideas.
You should watch one of the RUclips videos about making CLEAR ice cubes. Your ice cubes with edible flowers would be SO MUCH nicer if the ice were clear. See the one by Southern Cross Spirits "Clear Ice Cubes at Home". He uses the same kind of silicon ice cube trays as you do but with the right method,....
edible flowers are real. but you could use “any” flower of your are sure they wont get used in drinks or eaten or anything and they dont comemin contact with any part that people will put in their mouth just to be safe. I'd also probably avoid flowers that are know toxic. really theres a lot of common flower varieties that are food safe tho so why not just stick to those
I am not sure about this, sure is cool looking, but dont u think you can clearly poison some person with some flower. In my case I do not drink alcohol, so I feel like If I just put it in water or something else, just not sure. x
That's actually not true unfortunately, I've done it a bunch of times. Cubes made from purified/distilled water look pretty much the same no matter what temp the water. There will always be some cloudy parts near the center. Much of this is because of air bubbles. The best way to get almost clear cubes is with a Clinebell machine which freezes ice from the bottom to the top, removing air bubbles as the water freezes. You can kind of replicate this at home with a cooler, but even still there will be some areas that are a little cloudy.
This is really cool. I've never seen anything like it! 💖✨

I have to do this for GCSE art and couldn't figure out how to stop the flowers from floating. Your tutorial helped sooo much, thank you
when she said "youll need a large square..." my mind instantly filled in the rest and was like "you'll need a large square-headed brush"
Dang girl, you are so creative!

Do they have to be edible flowers? Can I use real ones - they're just for display in a drinks bucket not to have in my drink lol

I'm doing this(:
Cubes aren’t clear&boiling wont do it,its way more involved than that
If you freeze Boiling water it will make the ice cubes completely clear

it looks pretty but not very practical. most ppl dont eat flowers and dont want a forage of flowers in their drinks.
