@@HaukLanglo if you havent, you better wait for the new AR900 which is about to be released. Much better aerodynamics than the first model. And very durable foam unlike the C1.
@@Mateyhv1 Been very busy since this video, so the Caipirinha II I bought is still not built. All top spec long range electronic components are ready. Since I'm not flying till next spring, I have been thinking about buying the AR900 and put som cheaper electronics I have laying around on the Caip. Thanks for your advice. The AR900 sure look like a great wing, probably more suited to my interests and style :)
@@HaukLanglo the original design was quite good and very robust. The new one uses the same excellent foam but now looks more like a B2 bomber with A320 Neo integrated winglets. Very interesting design and more efficient in my opinion. You can see a preview on Painless360 channel. By the way you got some great footages with the C1, I enjoyed a lot watching them ;)
@@Mateyhv1 Thanks. My C1 was shaking and trembling a lot during high speed. But I loved the plane. I like to dive and stuff, but I think it was a bit on the light side for that kind of action perhaps. Or it's just that I never got to truly dial it in before loosing it. Also been thinking about building a new scratchbuild (FPV-49 v3 by FPV-Trond). Best plane I ever had, but never got any first person video from it before loosing it on a long range mission. (LOS vide on my channel) I love the B2. Looks matter :)
Enjoyed the video. An learnt something at the comments too. :)
awesome vid, and love the title :
That's a bummer! Are you thinking about building a replacement?
Maybe I get an AR-900. Looks like a nice flyer on your channel. Or maybe a scratchbuild of some sort.
